Why are Adventists running this on a sunday
There’s no Biblical prohibition against studying the Great Controversy or the Bible on a Sunday.
Agreed. Or, in this case, Sunday night, which is really Monday.
Because Sabbath, Saturday is meant to commune with God on his Holy Day. This event would be too engaging and taking away from the Holiness and Solemnity of the Holy Day, even though so many people do it. I myself get caught up in debates on the Sabbath. It spoils the purpose.
