This is so sad. You are all haters, like the Pharisees. Pastor Byrd is preaching God’s word and those who should be supporting this gospel being preached to all, are persecuting the preacher, just like the Pharisees did in Jesus’ day. They persecuted Jesus the same way. Let God be the judge. Speak to Pastor Byrd if you have an issue with his preaching. Don’t let your prejudice let the devil use you for his dirty deeds. It’s showing the kind of heart you have, for “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”.

CORRECTION: Let me say this! God sent Jesus with the message of His Kingdom. He walked with disciples for 3 years training THEM. They preached his message for over 200 years. But THEN Constantine taking over the story because of a cross and NOT Jesus Himself, and forcing Catholicism on everyone through catholic beliefs of the Jesuits has created all of these ridiculous denominations. Martin Luther was already of a part this it when he created the protestant reformation. We serve one God and Lord. This is so embarrassing, because this denominational religious foolishness is 2,000 years of error that God is not condoning. No not at all. But all we know is what has come down this Roman created religious line. Jesus is Lord. And when he declares to people on the other side of life “I Never knew you,” this will be why. This is so far from what His Father God sanctioned through Him living, dying on the Cross, and rising on the Third Day for our salvation. Pastor Byrd owes his allegiance to God, not the pious “tribunals” of these denominations who compete with the Holy Spirit of people who believe they have been call by Him! God is not pleased! If the man is preaching Jesus and righteousness, stop with the modern day pharisaical jealously of the power and nature of Jesus on preachers who are outside the box of mere denominational religion but teaching relationship with Jesus and right treatment of all his creation which include civil rights, and human values. Which are far more important to God than mere Christian value. Someone recent said “there is no love like Christian Hate!!” Lord have mercy on our souls! Selah!

Whether he got permission or not doesn’t matter, it’s still a sin. When God tells you what your job is and you don’t obey Him.

We are in the last days! These men were given Instruction on what to preach, if he was faithful in this work, he would not have fallen to temptation.
It is disobedience, indifference, and indulence that leads to these evils.

A Minister who fears God will never do such a thing. And all those ministers who practice this evil in our church need to heed the warnings of God and turn from this sin.

Jesus & the writers of the NT often quoted OT passages but didn’t quote the sources – different, I suppose, but it happened. EGW has been accused of plagiarism.

If Byrd went to “Babylon” & actually did get permission, did he acknowledge the source of his sermon? Shameful if he stole all or part of a sermon almost word-for-word; he didn’t even try to tweak it. Maybe others also go to “Babylon” or use AI to compose their sermons.

Other SDA preachers have jumped on this as well, blasting Byrd for it. Stay tuned…
