It cannot be God who is “rebuking mankind for violating Sunday rest” because God never established Sunday rest. Sunday is the first day of the week, a work day, not a rest day, and on it God began His creative work. Saturday is at the end of the week, the seventh day, and on it God rested from His creative work. Saturday is the only day God blessed, set apart, sanctified and made holy, and on that first Sabbath, He and Adam and Eve celebrated the birthday of the world! Sunday has always been known as the pagan day for worshipping the sun, nothing more. It’s a man-made counterfeit day.
