The 1st idea of a Sabbath came from God.
The 1st Memorial given to mankind by God is the 7th Day Sabbath.
The 1st sign/seal/logo is God's 7th Day Sabbath.

God knew that satan desired to be like God, desired to be worship like God, and desired to be exalted above God Isaiah 14:12-15; anything that seeks to separate us from the one amd true God, the Creator, Redeemer, and Restorer. This is why there are calls to keep a day, but not the one and only Day God Sanctified and made Holy.

This is Idolatry!

“because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. ”
Genesis 26:5 KJV

“12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. ”
Deuteronomy 5:12-14 KJV

“1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. ”
Hebrews 11:1-11 KJV

“3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. ”
1 John 5:3-4 KJV

“15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. ”
John 14:15, 21 KJV

“3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. ”
Exodus 20:3-6 KJV

Both the Holy scriptures (Bible) and Quran agree one thing in common (they agree that saturday is the Holy sabbath day blessed and sanctified by God.) Every christian worldwide knows that Jesus Christ died on Friday which is celebrated as Good friday (preparation day) saturday(sabbath day) sunday the first day of the week? Even in the CATHOLIC CHURCH CATECHISM - They acknowledge that they meet on sunday the day of the sun the first day of the week the eighth day after the Jewish sabbath? The Roman Catholic acknowledges that they are the ones who changed the fourth commandment decalogue of sabbath day (saturday) to the first day of the week sunday. Today, in our modern world there are three big days of worship recognized by the three big religions in the world? Friday is officially recognized as the day of worship by Muslim world. Saturday is the day recognized by Jews from Judaistic religion and christians from minority sabbath keepers such as Advent Christian, Seventh Day Adventists. Sunday is the day associated to the largest majority of christian mainstream churches led by Roman Catholic Church.

It's noteworthy to point that these three days of worship are prophesied in the book of (Isaiah 9:14). In the bible the King James Version (KJV) States: The Lord will cut off Israel from head and tail, branch and rash in one day.'' The head symbolizes the ''Ancient and honourable men'' and the tail is symbolizes prophets who teaches lies''. The Ancient and honourable represents Roman Pontiff, while the prophet who teaches lies symbolizes Prophet Mohammed. So, when you cut the head and tail you remain with the body . The leader of Islamic religion is Prophet Mohammed the one who teaches lies; leads the muslim world to worship on friday, while the leader of christian world the Ancient and Honourable represents Pope of Rome the leader of Roman Catholic Church who changed the day of worship from sabbath to sunday. The three days are also symbolized by the three thieves who were crucified together with Jesus christ being crucified flanked in between. The Lord of the Sabbath is Jesus Christ because it was his custom to rest and keep the sabbath according to the fourth commandment.

I would like to quote several quotations from the quran which acknowledge Sabbath(saturday) as (As- sabt) as the day of worship? And recognizes Sabbath sacredness as the covenant for the children of Israel. It's mentioned in the multiple times in the Quran in the context of being a religious rest and worship. srecifically prohibiting labour and fishing. Here are key points regarding the sabbath in the quran:

-Mention of Saturday as (As -Sabt): -The word sabbath is mentioned six times in the quran, often in reference to the sabbath.''

-A specific command for the Jews: The quran clarifies the sabbath was ordained specifically for the Jews who differed over it (Quran 16:124).

-The story of sabbath breakers: The Quran recounts the story of community that violated the sabbath by fishing on saturday ( When fish appeared in abundance) and was punished for transgression (Quran 7:163,2:65).

-Not applicable to Muslims: Islamic theology distinguishes between the laws given to previous nations and those given to Muslims. The Quran indicates that Friday (Jumu'ah) is the day of gathering and worship for Muslims which is distinct from the Jewish sabbath on saturday or christian sunday.

-Quranic references:
Surah Al Araf (7:163):'' Ask them about the town that was at sea -when they transgressed in matters concerning sabbath...''

-Surah An -Nisa (4:47) or curse them as we cursed the sabbath breakers.''

-Surah Al -Nahl (16:124) sabbath was appointed only for those who differed concerning it....''

While the Quran affirms the sabbath was valid, sacred law in the past it also states this specific obligation does not apply for the followers of Prophet Muhammad''.
