Not sure exactly what you are referring to in your remarks on the nature of Christ. Romans 8:3 exists in the context of Romans 7. It explains exactly what a sinful nature is. It is a nature which is powerless to resist sin. Man’s sinful nature has the will to do good but is not able to do it. That’s what a fallen nature is, a nature which cannot do whatever good it might want to do. Had Jesus possessed a nature like this, he would not have been able to resist Satan in the wilderness. He could not have realistically prayed “Not my will but thy will be done.” It would have been impossible for him to do God’s will.

Paul declined human worship by saying “We are men with passions like yours” (Acts 14:15). If Jesus had the passions of fallen man, he would not have accepted worship, nor would he have deserved it. Elijah was a man with passions like ours (James 5:17). The word here, translated as like passions means identical passions, just as Paul, Barnabas, and Elijah had. No passage in the Bible uses that word to describe the nature of Christ. He was made in the “likeness” of sinful flesh, the flesh described in Romans 7, flesh unable to resist sin.

The hard fact is that Andrew is right. If all the people in the Cortez family were left-handed, would not be proof of him being left-handed. YHVH is separating His kingdom from these STATE CHURCHES (GC 383) all around the world, and the invitation to enter into His kingdom is as sure, and intact as when Yahushua said, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” Matthew 4:17. Then this: “1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father….Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son” Col 1: 12, 13.

We may believe the “Word” John 1: 1, or be counted with them that study the quarterlies.
