Maybe if we do vote we ARE culpable for what they do !

But then Ed maybe you are not an SDA and if not , this quotation will not matter . But if you are then this is for you :

Voting for church leadership also is wrong
Nowhere in the bible do you see electiion
Only election in the bible is

MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE

God called people to do His work

If enough people vote in the general conference for the “pope”
He could be elected as the GC president
They could vote at the GC
And approve
Women’s ordination
Drinking tea coffee
Flesh diet
Observing sunday instead of the Sabbath
But that would not make it right and acceptable to God and sincere SDA’s

Voting is not of God

We cannot with safety vote for political parties; for we do not know whom we are voting for. We cannot with safety take part in any political scheme. CCh 316.2

The Jews and citizens of Germany stood aside and allowed Hitler to have his Final Solution by their silence.

We the people must know those who are to be running for leadership, whether that is in the church or in our country, state, county, city’s governments. We must make a decision. If we do not vote then we are culpable. Pray for the Lord God to guide us in that decision and He will lead us. After all, we vote for church leadership… conference leadership, etc.

Jesus told us to render unto Caesars what is Caesars. Romans 13 outlines that we are to obey our government (if it does not conflict with God’s law). In a Constitutional Republic, it is our privilege to govern ourselves. In order to do so, one of our duties is to vote intelligently. By not voting, and not standing up to the evil that has infiltrated our government, we neglect our duty and disobey God’s Word.
