Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

To conclude, in Isaiah 1, The Lord described his people as a woman who sells her body for sexual pleasure and not as a faithful married wife, the city here is like the city described in Revelation 17 that great city or the city of idolatry, but The Lord promises to turn things around making the people of God a city of Righteousness by faith, without idolatry and wickedness and thus a living city of peace. Yes, unless there is divine intervention in our helpless situation there is no plan for redemption or restoration and all plans for peace and unity is nothing more than a false sence of security, a so called worldly harmony based on uniformity that stands against the express will of God and is no different from the rebellion which took place in heaven among the angels which resulted in the angels loyal to fallen Lucifer all being made homeless, no longer welcomed in their heavenly home.

There is no peace outside of Christ, if there is peace it’s a world peace of peace keepers trying to get along as best as possible and not to let the unique doctrines or differences between different groups get in the very, heavenly peace is with the peace makers who make peace with God first that they may be at peace with others. Here is a Bible verse which was shared with me recently one morning…

Proverbs 16:7

When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

The prerequisite for lasting peace is to please The Lord first that even the enemies of God will be at peace with the people of God, it’s interesting to note that when the people of God did that which was right and pleasing in the sight of God, no nation of idolatry would pick a fight with God’s people, but when the people sold themselves into idolatry to be like other nations many times the other nations in their idolatry would invade their country and rule of them. (we can read the book of Judges to see the historical account of the rising and falling of the people of God, who rose up out of idolatry by living to please God and fell into idolatry because they refused to follow the instructions given them by God who brought them out of the land of idolatry and slavery)

Unfortunately the drive for world peace and the saving of the environment and the climate change crisis, has nothing to do with the divine purpose for our daily lives as human beings, in wisdom inspired by God the wise man said… Righteoudness lifts a nation, but sin is a reorouch to any people…

Therefore the opposite is no less true, unrighteousness depresses all nations as they see sin as the way to all peoples, yes, a nation of iniquity, idolatry, heathenism, paganism, evolutionary thinking, secularism, communism, socialism, being full of humanism, or any other ‘ ism ‘ without The Law of God in all it’s fullness rules and dwells in darkness like the creatures that dwell deep under ground or the deep sea, that does not need light to move around and live.

To conclude, only peace with God will bring meaningful and lasting peace with others, (Romans 5: 1) only the peace that Jesus alone can give is heavenly peace on earth, all other attempts for peace without God is like broken pieces of a container apparently put together again, only to fall down again and shatter into pieces, only God can bring about true peace through Christ Jesus outside of the express and unfolding will of God, is nothing but uniformity that will shatter into pieces in the end. Yes, not only will the sinner be at peace with God, there will be no conflict between the repentant sinner and The Law of God, such will love The Sabbath of The Lord, which is part of The 10 Commandments, as well as keep away from Idolatry in all it’s forms, culture and nature, but all who reject The Sabbath of The Lord, will delight in any form of idolatry be it religious or evolutionary, secular or spiritual, social or individual, be it personal or as a community, be it as part of the neighborhood, the wider district, the nation, in the city or the country, the continent or an Island, be it in government among professionals, well educated or not unless God is in it all is nothing but idolatry and continual Sabbath transgression (the two most detailed commandments in The Law of God) which will also lead to the transgression of The Law of God as a whole.

Finally all attempts for world peace, religious peace outside of the express will of God as we have seen in the Bible verses above is no better than the rebellion against God by fallen Lucifer together with his angels and no better than the building of the tower of Babel, which God brought to nothing by multiplying the human languages thus spreading out the people to stay the centralisation of the masses in the city building and the tower that was reaching for the sky and growing further and further away from the earth.

May the peace of God which passes all understanding mold our daily lives, fitting us for our lives in this sinful world and the world to come and may we be not drawn into the so called harmony of peace between nations and religions, which is put together under a false sence of security, because when they shall say as it were…we have peace and safety at last, then sudden destruction shall take them and none shall escape.
