From the Interpreter’s Dictionary: “Ekklesia was used primarily to designate a particular communal reality, not to describe its qualitative aspects”
“Ekklesia describes anything that might be happening within a community that requires an assembly. This assembly could be social, governmental, or religious. It could be legal or illegal”.

From scripture Rev 12:17 we understand that the Remnant are those that “keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ”. The only (Ekklesia) assembly of people that fulfills this is the SDA Church.

The SOP also supports the SDA church as being the remnant church and there will be no other no matter her short comings. The tares will be removed from the wheat.

In reply to Alan. Алан ты пойми, что в те годы, когда ты пришёл в адвентизм, то уже в церковь были внедрены иезуиты и они постепенно, шаг за шагом вели людей в противоположную сторону от Бога. Ничему не удивляйся, но сам для себя изучай Библию и слушайся голос Иисуса. Не слушай "лидеров", они не состоят на службе у Бога, но служат иному господину и это уже всем очевидно. Мир тебе.

In reply to George Chakhuta. I became a SDA in 1992. I was raised a RC but had not attended services for several years because of my life style and also had a hard time with things they taught. After being an SDA for a few years i could see very little difference in the 2. It appeared to me than and still does that the church members were being led to accept Sunday worship when the Sunday laws came in. Our founding fathers had the truth, but it is not being taught like it should be and has not been for years. Especially from our supposed leaders.
