When Satan appears as an “angel of light” in the form of that Stately fair person this is the ONLY way the whole world would get on board. That whole quote in Early Writings is about demons appearing as dead.

I find it peculiar that men like you never include what the Testimonies say about these apparitions in the last days except for a mention in passing, but Mrs White was very clear that:

“Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul, and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions.” GC88 588.1

True Christians follow Christ the Saviour. They have become part of the heavenly family through the covenant relationship they made with Him; and there are conditions they have to keep to maintain and remain in this covenant relationship. God’s Holy Law are the conditions of this covenant, and they keep His Law because they love Him, because He first love them:
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. ”
John 14:15 KJV

One of these conditions Christians are to keep is to not put anything first before God, not even a religious institution:
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. ” Exodus 20:3 KJV

Not to make any graven image or idols of any likeness, or anything thats in heaven, or that is beneath the earth, or that is in the waters under the earth. Christians do not pray to dead people, nor worship the dead:

“4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. ” Exodus 20:4-6 KJV

They do not misrepresent God’s character, by claiming to be His followers, and do not obey Him, nor do they missaply, misuse, or trample upon His Words/Law; Matthew 15:7-9:

“Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. ” Exodus 20:7 KJV

And they keep the seventh day Sabbath, because its a sign, seal or signature that identifies God as the Creator; at creation God put His signature or sign or seal at the end of all His creation of the heavens and earth, so that mankind would not forget that the Lord God is their Creator; Genesis 2:1-3:

“8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. ” Exodus 20:8-11 KJV

So Christians who love God will honor and give glory to Him, even when satan is seeking to bring all the world under his banner – his counterfeit mark:

Judgment is coming – Fear God, give glory to Him, and worship Him:

“6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The false religion is deceiving the whole world with false doctrines and teachings:

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Do not receive the banner or mark that will be enforced, for God’s wrath will be poured out on those who accept idolatry – another God above the one and only true God – the Creator and Redeemer:

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. ”

The vital points to enhance this unity of purpose is to agree on major points in this satanic new world order religion being championed by the Papacy. Sunday sacredness and Trinity are the vocal points where this ecumenism will have a major impact. It’s through lies and deception Satan succeeds by indoctrinating many with a lot of false doctrines and teachings. That’s why in the book of Matthew 15:8, says: How ye do worship me
