Since 1960’s America voted for it’s first Roman Catholic President John F. But forty years later, George Bush a republican candidate for presidency pledged loyalty to Rome by declaring that he will always be faithful and obedient to Pope John Paul II. George W.Bush , even went ahead and devoted a Place in the white house mall for the Roman Catholic Bishops, during his inaugural ceremony in January 2001. So, here we clearly see two contradictions ? Democratic Presidential Candidate John F.Kennedy pledging to move from Washington D.C to Texas and said; that he will not obey the Pope. George W.Bush pledging to move from Texas to Washington D.C AND Pledges to obey the Pope.

So, my friends, the Roman Catholicism is gaining pre -eminence in the U.S , Which was considered a land of freedom, and religious liberty. We should remember America established diplomatic relations with Vatican in 1984. And President Ronald Reagan developed a close working relationship with Pope John Paul II. Both leaders worked together and dismantled the communism in Poland in eastern europe, Catholicism spread all over the country the homeland of Karoyl Wojtyla, then Pope John Paul II. Pope John Paul II, interacted well with succesive U.S Presidents such as George H.W. Bush , Bill Clinton and finally George .W.Bush.
