The Conference needs a change in leadership. Leadership needs a change of heart, mind and soul. In other words, leadership has become wicked and is in need of prayer toward repentance. The problem lie within the power that be.

I wouldn’t say that. In the wilderness, God’s people were divided into tribes. I would say this is not my tribe. The church will not fall but be shaken and those who continue this practice (not just this particular but many) will be shaken out. So the church will be fine as gold and will follow The Lamb wherever He goes.

Unfortunately, Pastor Byrd, one of this denomination’s top evangelists worldwide, is being judged by some very discriminating individuals who did not bother to watch the entire concert not to mention the day’s service, which included a baptism. This is not the first time but it appears that the African American SDA worship style is still under attack by those who don’t even bother to understand the origins of our praise. There is something un-Christ-like in using “some” scripture to validate their unfounded disapproval of the Black worship experience – much like slaveowners did to justify slavery. If this is not your style of worship, that is fine. But please stop judging mine. I agree: go somewhere else.
