The first wound was to the Pius name line in 1798 with taking into captivity(verse 10) and dying in captivity in France in 1799. The healing of the name line was when the next pope chose the name Puis VII.

Thus our continued repudiation of the Protestant or biblical principles which the nation was built upon. If the deadly wound suffered by the first beast of Revelation 13 was the papacies loss of power as a result of the French Revolution, then the healing of that wound would certainly entail the papacy regaining such power. That power was the support of the kings or governments of this world. Without question then, the papacies ever increasing influence upon the governments of this world, these United States especially, is in fact the healing of her deadly wound. Our government making an image to that beast, representing the final stages of recovery, and a resurrection as it were of the papal beast of prophecy again. The wound being healed, when the woman (Babylon), is once again firmly seated upon the governments of this world. Riding them where she will. The beast she rode was, the period in which it is not is coming to its end, as the time in which it yet is has come upon us.
