This German film, “Pauline,” is reminiscent of the pyscho-horror movie, “Rosemary’s Baby,” which was released by Hollywood (Paramount Pictures) in 1968, depicting the wife of a stage actor being raped by Satan and becoming pregnant as a result. The movie was directed by Roman Polanski (the husband of Sharon Tate, the actress who was murdered in the horrific Charles Manson killings in Los Angeles in August 1969) and has been hailed as the inauguration of cinema’s open flirtation and unstoppable experimentation with occultism and demon possession.

No Seventh-day Adventist should watch any devilish-inspired and horror-themed productions, nor partner with a company that promotes the least vestige of spiritism. AdventHealth is not Seventh-day Adventist (notwithstanding its nominal profession), and the General Conference Corporation — in not seeking to disband, disconnect and discontinue its support — is guilty of the worst sins associated with this “alliance” (Adventist Review, March 15, 2022 — “AdventHealth Renewed Alliance with Walt Disney World is Producing Results”).

“Upon those religious leaders whose teachings have opened the door to infidelity, to Spiritualism, and to contempt for God’s holy law, rests a fearful responsibility for the iniquity that exists in the Christian world” (Spirit of Prophecy, volume 4, p. 403).

Always remember this sublime truth — “The word fellowship means participation, partnership” (Fundamentals on Christian Education, p. 476).

“And have no fellowship [participation, partnership, alliance, confederation, sponsorship] with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians 5:11).
