The All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport, West Virginia will be hosting a concert by an ecumenical choir consisting of “Roman Catholic, Seventh-day Adventist, Baptist, Church of God in Christ, and nondenominational” singers. They will be performing during a 5 p.m. mass on Saturday, September 10, 2022 and a 10 a.m. mass on Sunday, September 11, 2022. The purpose of bringing this ecumenical choir to sing during mass, according to the All Saints Catholic Church, is “to celebrate the arts, while at the same time to celebrate and affirm faith.” [1]
This is not the first time that Seventh-day Adventists have joined this ecumenical choir during Rome’s Sunday morning Eucharistic mass. [2] It seems that ecumenism is bringing us closer every day to the Roman Catholic Church’s most central act of worship, the celebration of the Eucharistic mass on Sunday morning. Please consider the following words of inspiration in light of the ecumenical movement, which only affirms people in their error rather than calling them out of darkness:
“My brother, my sister, ponder these things, I beseech you. You have each a work to do. Your unfaithfulness and neglect are registered against you in the Ledger of Heaven … My heart is stirred to the very depths. Words are inadequate to express my feelings as I plead for perishing souls. Must I plead in vain? As Christ’s ambassador I would arouse you to labor as you never labored before. Your duty cannot be shifted upon another. No one but yourself can do your work. If you withhold your light, someone must be left in darkness through your neglect” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, pp. 463, 464).
“We have no time to lose. We know not how soon our probation may close. Eternity stretches before us. The curtain is about to be lifted. Christ is soon to come. The angels of God are seeking to attract us from ourselves and from earthly things. Let them not labor in vain” (Testimonies, Vol. 8, p. 314).
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:15.
“All nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her (Babylon’s) fornication.” Revelation 18:3.
Do you know what the problem with Babylon is? The trouble with Babylon is that the devil is at the head of it. He is the ruler of this world and the head of Babylon. The mother and all of her harlot daughters who are cooperating in the context of the worldwide ecumenical movement are included in this. This movement instructs all churches to disregard biblical truth. Are we trying to get people out of Babylon? Or are we trying to get as close to it as possible? The churches that compose Babylon are fallen because they are in league with the devil.
At the end of the millennium, when the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven, all of the righteous will be in God’s kingdom, saved for all eternity. Why? Because they came out of Babylon. Outside of the New Jerusalem will be the billions of people who are part of Babylon. Together with the devil, they will be outside the city of God. Two families will be presented: the saved in the New Jerusalem and all the lost who are part of Babylon. Notice what will happen to the entire Babylonian family at this final encounter between the saved and the lost. There will be no ecumenism on the final Day of Judgment:
“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Revelation 19:20.
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are.” Revelation 20:10.
How many of these souls should we be attempting to call out of Babylon given that this is what is on the horizon? But rather than urging people to escape from Babylon, we are being dragged into her Eucharistic mass celebrations. Has there ever been an apostasy of this magnitude among God’s people? Oh, this has happened so many times that heaven weeps over this.
I want to ask you: Should we be mixing Babylonian heresies with Adventism? Obviously not. However, our greatest problem is not with these Adventists who join in these Eucharistic mass celebrations. Our greatest problem is with all those who sympathize with them and those who remain neutral in times of spiritual crisis. Today, we have Adventists who want to praise God and praise the devil in the same breath. We have those who want to be friends with all parties, including the Babylonian family. We have those who think they are so kind and diplomatic that they don’t have any enemies in this world, except the present truth preachers in Adventism who expose their errors.
Jesus had enemies. Paul had enemies. And if you stand for truth and right, you will have enemies in this world. We shouldn’t go out of our way to make enemies, but we shouldn’t also go out of our way to not make any enemies by sacrificing the truth of God. And God today is trying to tell the world in Revelation 14:8 and 18:1-5 that He does not approve or sanction the sins of Babylon. The Bible says that Babylon’s sins have reached unto heaven and God has remembered her iniquities (Revelation 18:5).
“We should never give sanction to sin by our words or our deeds, our silence or our presence” (Desire of Ages, p. 152).
This is the problem with the modern ecumenical movement. When we participate in these interfaith Eucharistic mass celebrations and don’t say anything about what God says in His word, we give sanction to their errors. And the responsibility of showing the world that Babylon has fallen and that God does not approve of her sins is a major part of the Three Angels’ Message. Don’t get involved in a bunch of deceptive excuses about the need to mingle with Babylon. Yes, Jesus sat down with sinners, but He preached the present truth to them. He didn’t ignore the truth like too many leaders do today.
The solution is very simple; let no one confuse your mind. Babylon is to be admonished and/or rebuked and if no repentance is forthcoming, people are supposed to be called out of her. Thanks to ecumenism, this is not happening. What is happening is that Babylon is making herself comfortable within and around Adventism. So much so that when a soul comes out of Babylon seeking help, many times instead of receiving it, they are drawn back into Babylonian error, and prevented from receiving the help God desires to give them.
How much of Babylon are we going to allow to come into Adventism? How much more are we going to tolerate? If we had more faithful watchmen doing their jobs, we wouldn’t have any of this. If we were doing our job, we would not sanction these ecumenical choirs celebrating Sunday mass, but instead address these grave errors taking place among our people. We would give a warning. We would plead with them. And then maybe the camp of God could be cleansed, if more leaders did their jobs.
But the camp hasn’t been cleaned. As a fellow ambassador of Christ, I have the responsibility to speak the truth in love, because I will have to face all of you on the Day of Judgment, when we all give an account to God. I am more interested in what you will say to me in the judgment than what you say or think about me today. Consider the following that will literally be fulfilled:
“Many of the wicked were greatly enraged as they suffered the effects of the plagues. It was a scene of fearful agony. Parents were bitterly reproaching their children, and children their parents, brothers their sisters, and sisters their brothers. Loud, wailing cries were heard in every direction, ‘It was you who kept me from receiving the truth which would have saved me from this awful hour.’ The people turned upon their ministers with bitter hate and reproached them, saying, ‘You have not warned us. You told us that all the world was to be converted, and cried, Peace, peace, to quiet every fear that was aroused. You have not told us of this hour; and those who warned us of it you declared to be fanatics and evil men, who would ruin us.’ But I saw that the ministers did not escape the wrath of God. Their suffering was tenfold greater than that of their people” (Early Writings, p. 282).
We are living in a time of emergency. We are alive today at this moment in history to spread the true light of Christ in this dying world. That is what we live for. That is our ultimate goal. The Remnant people are pledged to carry out this promise. Our intuitions and ministries are supposed to be devoted to this. But we are NEVER to participate in or sanction, even by our silence, the sins of Babylon that God has remembered, that have reached unto heaven, and that will be held to account at the hour of God’s judgment (Revelation 14:7).

Quelle tristesse!

Keep speaking the truth brother Andy, as unpopular it may be to most.

There is nothing more heart breaking than to see two beautiful people that I taught all the way from Primary to Early Teen classes in Sabbath School, only to end up marrying Catholics! One of these young people even went to Southern College, and met her future husband there. They both ended up in the Catholic Church!
When I had opportunity to finally speak to this girl, which has been many years now since she left the Adventist Church, she told me that she was in the “right church”, and to stop trying to “re-convert” her back to Adventism. My heart was crushed. The devil has blinded these two beautiful people that I saw growing up in the Adventist Church.

Linda, I am sorry to hear your story… I am sure the parents are heartbroken too. I know many families that sent their kids through the SDA educational system to have them walk away from their faith.
You only had these kids for a few hours at most once a week. The parents had them several hours every day. The schools had them for about the same amount of time in the sense of awake time…it is an uphill battle to counteract the exposure to worldly ways and beliefs in an hour and a half in a classroom full of children that don’t all appreciate the effort and time, and are restless, “bored “, hungry, tired etc.
And yes it does break your heart…

Thank you Andy for keeping us informed!
E.G. White makes the statement that it is the churches who are compromising with Rome and drawing closer to her!! She isn’t moving toward us. We are moving closer to her!
How is it that we find ourselves here? Oh, the SDA church leadership is leading the way with top officials like Diop and Wilson having secret meetings during General Conference session giving us lay folks an example of apostasy.
The problem lies with those who should be enforcing church discipline but choose to be too “kind and loving aka diplomatic” to do so. As long as there are Achans tolerated within the church we will suffer the loss of God’s blessings and protection.
Lord, please shake your church and strengthen your people to endure their enemies wrath!
Stand for truth else you fall for error!

Thank you Andy for teaching us truth. Keep doing it. Stay faithful. The last great deception is to make of none effect the Spirit of Prophecy. This has already happened. The wonderful counsel that God has given us is being disregarded for the most part.

“It was not the will of God that the coming of Christ should be so long delayed, and his people should remain so many years in this world of sin and sorrow. But unbelief separated them from God. As they refused to do the work which he had appointed them, others were raised up to proclaim the message.” GC 458

Let this sink, “Seventh-day Adventism cannot cease to be anti-Catholic without ceasing to be Seventh-day Adventism.”
So, it should be clear now, they’re at best nominal/apostate Adventists.
I’m glad to say that when John of Revelation saw, he saw that the whole world wondered after the beast, But God’s angel told John to look carefully, this is when he said, oh Yea, “Here is the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ!” While the great multitude of Seventh-day Adventists are falling into intense apostasy and gross darkness, we who take heed of the Testimonies and the Bible should be our time to gather warmth from their coldness/lukewarmness, become more loyal as they think and plan treason, time to be more courageous as they become timid/cowards…..

We shouldn’t be participating in any mass. This blurs the line between truth and error.
Chris says
You can’t just participate in a Catholic mass and not be affected.
Great Controversy, p. 568: “The teachings of Christ are buried beneath a mass of senseless traditions, false interpretations, and rigorous exactions….The worship of images and relics, the invocation of saints, and the exaltation of the pope are devices of Satan to attract the minds of the people from God and from His Son.”
