On November 30, 2019 Pope Francis assisted the “I Can” Global Children’s Summit in Rome, Italy. 3,500 kids from 40 countries came together to discuss how to become agents of change. The “I Can” Global Children’s Summit was inspired by Pope Francis’ “Laudato Si” encyclical. [1] The Pope was welcomed with a strange ballet performance in which a young boy dressed in tights danced for the Roman Catholic leadership.
Looking at this ballet dance without any context might make you think there was nothing wrong with this performance. But when you consider Rome’s past and current sex abuse epidemic and the predatory priests who target children then you realize that the organizers of this event demonstrated extremely poor judgment. No parent should ever allow their children to jump around in this fashion to amuse the Catholic priesthood.
The poor boy in the video above is a lamb prancing around in the company of ravaging wolves. For thousands of years Catholic families have been entrusting their children to predatory priests only to see them abused and destroyed. What greater evil can there be in this world than the wholesale, systematic raping of children? This has happened in every Catholic archdiocese, in every nation and in every culture wherever Rome has a presence. And not just in this age but in every age for millennia.
St. Peter Damian
Peter Damian, born in the year 1007, was a Benedictine monk, a Roman Catholic cardinal, a church doctor and one of Rome’s greatest saints who fought against the church’s rampant pedophilia and homosexual epidemic. Peter Damian wrote a book called “The Book of Gomorrah” which is a scathing rebuke against Rome’s “phenomena of clerical homosexuality and pederasty” (sexual relationships with boys) and he also endorsed the “imprisonment of clergy who are a danger to youth.” [2]
Not only did St. Peter Damian attack the Catholic clergy who were having sexual relationships with children, he also railed against the church for keeping quiet about these abuses, for harboring these child sex abusers and for covering up these scandals:
“Damian blames lax ecclesiastical superiors for their ‘silence’ with regard to clerical sodomy, and regards them as sharing in the guilt of those under their authority. ‘Undoubtedly, those who turn a blind eye to the sins of their subjects that they are obligated to correct, also grant to their subjects a license to sin through their ill-considered silence,’ writes Damian, later adding that he would rather be persecuted than to fail to speak out: ‘Indeed, I prefer to be thrown innocent into a well with Joseph, who accused his brothers of the worst of crimes to their father, than to be punished by the retribution of divine fury with [the high priest] Eli, who saw the evil of his children and was silent.’ ” [3]
The Catholic community as a whole is responsible for the systemic sexual abuse of children. Not only have these abuses been going on for over a thousand years but those in leadership positions do nothing to remove these predators from the priesthood. Instead of excommunicating them they help to cover up their crimes. Members of the Catholic clergy who do not speak out, who turn a blind eye and who do not say anything about these abominations are just as guilty as those who commit these crimes.
Those who put money into the offering plates of the Catholic Church are paying for the salaries of pedophile priests. They also pay the salaries of complicit bishops who say nothing, corrupt cardinals who move them around and deceitful popes who pretend that nothing is happening. There is no real interest on the part of the church to investigate this sinful conduct. No one is interested in naming them or throwing them out of office. It is only when law enforcement gets involved or when the scandal becomes public that the church might acknowledge some cases of abuse. But there is little to no cooperation with law enforcement, prosecutors or attorneys representing victims.
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” Titus 1:16.
Martin Luther and the Reformation
The plague of child sex abuse and corruption only grew with the passing of time. 500 years after St. Peter Damian, Martin Luther published a pamphlet in 1531 called “Warnunge D. Martini Luther/ An seine lieben Deudschen” (Dr. Luther’s Warning to the German People). This pamphlet is found on page 38 of Luther’s Works Volume 47 and gives Luther’s assessment of Rome’s child sex crisis in his generation:
“More remarkable yet, in the same bull they decided that a cardinal should not keep as many boys in the future. However, Pope Leo commanded that this be deleted; otherwise it would have been spread throughout the whole world how openly and shamelessly the pope and the cardinals in Rome practice sodomy … This vice is so prevalent among them that recently a pope caused his own death by means of this sin and vice. In fact, he died on the spot” (Luther’s Work Volume 47, p. 38).
Martin Luther revealed that Pope Leo X was against an effort to publish a decree limiting the number of young boys a Catholic Cardinal could keep in his home for the purposes of abusing them sexually. Luther is not saying that the Cardinals were against child sex abuse, only that they wanted to limit the number of child sex partners they could have to just a few; however, Luther claimed that Pope Leo X was against publishing in a decree (bull) these limits for fear of publicizing these abominations.
Martin Luther was not trying to fraternize with these wicked men. He was exposing them. Today Protestants have abandoned their protest and are instead uniting together with Rome even as Catholicism continues in their long-standing tradition of raping young boys.
Pope Benedict XVI
When Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI he inherited a growing sex abuse crisis from his predecessor Pope John Paul II. Pope Benedict XVI had to confront an explosion of accusations from all over the world. In addition to the inherited scandals, Pope Benedict XVI also faced personal accusations that he himself had harbored and moved abusing priests while he was the Archbishop of Munich. [4]
Then a bombshell HBO documentary came out called “Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God.” This documentary revealed that Pope Benedict XVI, while working as a cardinal at the Vatican, was complicit for covering up the abuse of a priest and serial child molester named Lawrence Murphy who was preying on 200 boys at a school for the deaf. [4] [5] Pope Benedict XVI resigned shortly after this documentary came out. This incident was called the “Lawrence Murphy Case” and led to a broader investigation that resulted in more allegations of abuse. Today, there are over 8,000 cases of child sex abuse by 100 priests in the same archdioceses where Lawrence Murphy worked at. [6]
Think about this: In just one catholic archdioceses there are more than 8,000 verified cases of priests abusing and raping children. But it gets worse. What is happening in this one archdioceses is also happening in other archdiocese across the United States. But it gets much worse. Children have been abused and raped in every country wherever there is a Catholic presence, and there are 627 Roman Catholic archdioceses worldwide. [7]
So if you do the math there are literally hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of cases of priests raping boys worldwide in just the last 50 years. But even this is not the full scope of the problem because Rome has been preying on children for over a thousand years! It is a fact that the Catholic Church is the largest, most well-funded, most protected, most powerful, most influential and the most organized group of pedophiles in the history of the world! And it is pure evil that this association of pedophiles is clothed in a garb of “Christianity.” Yet some will want to call me evil for pointing this out.
Is this the Rome that Protestants are so willing to embrace today? Is this who we really want to unite with?
Pope Francis
Archbishop Maria Vigano was the former US Ambassador from Rome and top the Vatican official in the US. According to Archbishop Vigano the Vatican is just like the “mafia” because of their “conspiracy” to remain “silent” on the subject of child sex abuse. [8] Archbishop Vigano also called upon Pope Francis to resign from the papacy for covering up certain sex abuse scandals while he was Pope.
“Archbishop Viganò claimed that the Vatican hierarchy was complicit in covering up accusations that Cardinal Theodore McCarrick had sexually abused seminarians and that Pope Francis knew about the abuses by the now-disgraced American prelate years before they became public. Yet, the letter contended, Francis did not punish the cardinal, but instead empowered him to help choose powerful American bishops.” [9]
Allegedly, Archbishop Vigano reported a Cardinal to Pope Francis who had abused some young seminarians. That’s what church officials are supposed to do. They are supposed to speak out when abusers are identified. So, according to Archbishop Vigano, how did Pope Francis respond? What did Pope Francis do to the offending Cardinal? He empowered the abuser!
We add sin to sin when we do this. The Catholic Church only adds to the horror of these crimes when they do nothing to stop the abuse. Instead, they do the very opposite. Instead, they enable and empower the abusers. Rome is not interested in protecting children. They are interested in protecting their positions, their power and their personal image.
Priests are raping boys and those who have the authority to remove the perpetrators choose instead to protect them. These are not priests, they are not godly men nor are they Christians. These are sick, sexual predators and all the “good” nuns and the “good” bishops and the “good” cardinals and the “good” popes have not only kept quiet, they enable the predators and cover up the abuse. The so-called “good” Catholic leaders turn a blind eye, make excuses and transfer the predators to different locations. Even the “good” Catholics are complicit.
If a Catholic layperson sexually abuses a child they would be in prison. Why does the Catholic leadership get away with it? Because of a conspiracy by those in charge. They hide the abuse and sweep it under the rug. They are aiding and abetting child sexual predators. That is a crime. Lock them all up! This is a criminal organization not a church. Rome as a system was started by Emperor Constantine and not by Jesus Christ. [10]
Why? Because they take the money which the members give to support the so-called “gospel” and use it to pay lawyers to fight against the victims who were sexually abused by the church. They also use the money to silence the abused and to create a climate of fear for victims. This not only perpetuates a code of silence but it also enables the predators to prey on more victims.
Why Others Are Held to Account and Not Rome?
No one else on planet earth can get away with the sins that Rome commits. Take for example Penn State University. Here we have an institution where some in responsible positions abused children while conducting school related activities. Jerry Sandusky, a coach for the Penn State Football Team, was convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse.
Not only was he sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison, but school president Graham Spanier, vice president Gary Schultz and athletic director Tim Curley all lost their jobs and were charged with perjury, obstruction of justice, failure to report suspected child abuse, and other related charges. Penn State University was fined $60 million dollars. The football team was not allowed to play in the post season for 4 years. School scholarships were reduced and all victories by the football team from 1998 to 2011 were vacated. [11]
These were harsh and severe consequences. But why does Rome, who has literally millions and millions of child rape cases on her record, still have the support of celebrities, politicians and Protestants? Why is the Pope still welcomed with open arms in every nation? It’s a mystery. The Bible calls it the “mystery of iniquity” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12) and it is being developed before our eyes.
But it’s no mystery if you understand the beast of Bible prophecy. The reason why the world is returning in droves to Rome and the reason why this corrupt system is so popular is because the Bible reveals that it’s authority has a super-natural backing that is not from heaven.
“And the dragon (Satan) gave him (beast) his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Revelation 13:2.
“And all the world wondered after the beast (Rome).” Revelation 13:3.
Her Sins Have Reached Up to Heaven
“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:3-5.
When the Bible says that Babylon’s sins have reached unto heaven this is not just a metaphor. One after another her abominations are heaped on top of each other and God sees them all. He doesn’t ignore them. This is similar to when God heard the cry of Sodom’s sin:
“And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous.” Genesis 18:20.
God’s love is seen in His solution for Babylon. Even though Babylon’s moral corruption has reached unto heaven God in mercy gives a loving, effectual warning to the faithful to come out of this catastrophic state of moral decay. God has a people in Babylon, but He is calling them out because He doesn’t want then partaking of Babylon’s sins by having fellowship with these wicked men. Those who remain in Babylon and those who wonder after the beast will surely receive of her plagues – no exceptions.
“An innumerable host of evil angels are spreading over the whole land and crowding the churches. These agents of Satan look upon the religious bodies with exultation, for the cloak of religion covers the greatest crime and iniquity” (Early Writings, p. 274).
And still the whole world, including Protestants, are flocking to Rome to take photos with the Pope. Why is the world and all the churches cozying up to Rome? Why do people keep taking their kids back to this institution to be nurtured by predatory pedophiles? Why do people continue to maintain their membership in an organization that would commit such unspeakable horrors to children? Have we forgotten the soon, coming judgments of God?
“Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32.
“How the Roman church can clear herself from the charge of idolatry we cannot see … And this is the religion which Protestants are beginning to look upon with so much favor, and which will eventually be united with Protestantism” (Last Day Events, p. 130).
