As Joe Biden presented his vision for the United States, he said he is “ready to act” and “knows what to do.” Then Joe Biden quotes Pope Francis’ papal encyclical Fratelli Tutti. The video clip concludes with Joe Biden saying that he is going to “heal” and “unite” America. Unite us with who? Rome?
This is the second time Joe Biden has made public references to the Pope’s encyclicals in his vision for America. [1] He is demonstrating his desire to work hand in hand with Rome. First, Joe Biden praised the papal encyclical Laudato Si.’ [2] Now he is promoting Fratelli Tutti. Protestant America is truly becoming “an image of the Roman hierarchy” (Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 4, p. 278).
What will be next? Inspiration reveals what comes next:
“Protestantism shall give the hand of fellowship to the Roman power. Then there will be a law against the Sabbath of God’s Creation, and then it is that God will do His ‘strange work’ in the earth” (Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, p. 910).
In any case, prophecy predicts that these public displays of affection for Rome by our government leaders will become more and more frequent until finally our legislators will undo the Constitution of the United States.
“Our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and Republican government and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 451).
“Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth, and even in free America rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance” (Last Day Events, p. 129).
The Second Coming of Christ must indeed be at the door because we are seeing things today that we never saw a few years ago. The restoration of the papacy to its former glory is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The healing of the deadly wound can only take place when the United States enforces the doctrines of Rome by law.
“And he (USA) exerciseth all the power of the first beast (papacy) before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Revelation 13:12.
How will the healing of the deadly wound be completed? How will Rome’s temporal power be restored to its former prestige? This will happen when our nation begins to implement the Pope’s encyclicals by law. And Joe Biden says he shares Pope Francis’ vision on climate change and will work to implement a “shared” solution to fix the climate crisis on the first day of his administration. [3]
Joe Biden is doing the opposite of what John F. Kennedy did. President Kennedy said:
“I am not the Catholic candidate for President. I do not speak for the Catholic Church on issues of public policy – and no one in that Church speaks for me … Do not expect me to explain or defend every act or statement of every Pope or priest, in this country or some other, in this century or the last.” [4]
Given the chance, Joe Biden would reestablish the coming temporary papal kingdom. Prophecy says that Rome will reign as a queen over the kings of the earth:
“For she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.” Revelation 18:7.
“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:18.
Vatican City will reign again over all the religions of the world (Fratelli Tutti). She will rule over the kings and the merchants of the earth (Laudato Si’). And Revelation 13 says that all of this is set into motion by the second beast – the United States. It’s happening. We are beginning to see how all of these events are coming together.
The good news is that these events will mark a turning point in our human history. For the glory of God, those who have held on to the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14 and those who have kept their garments washed in the blood of the Lamb will be aroused and prepared to receive the Latter Rain. Then the message of the Third Angel will swell into the Loud Cry of Revelation 18 and the world will be illuminated with the glory of God.
May God’s people put away the days of sin and may we be led into a deeper walk with God. May we study, pray and work like never before so that we can obtain the experience necessary for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the final test during the coming Mark of the Beast.
