“Under one head—the papal power—the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. This union is cemented by the great apostate” (Testimonies, Vol. 7, p. 182).
Pope Francis’ plan for the world is to evangelize it with an ecumenical fraternity that will lead us to Rome’s central sacrament – the Sunday Eucharist. These words were published by the Vatican Press Office on May 20, 2024. This is the Pope’s will for the 53rd International Eucharistic Congress, scheduled for September 2024. The world is to be healed of all past wounds. How will this happen? The Pope claims that this will happen when we become a part of his universal brotherhood and when we lead the world in celebrating the Sunday Eucharist.
The Vatican Press Office published the following:
• “This morning, at 11.30, a press conference was held in the Holy See Press Office to present the 53rd International Eucharistic Congress (IEC2024), to be held in Quito, Ecuador, from 8 to 15 September 2024, on the theme ‘Fraternity to heal the world’.” [1]
• “In this ecclesial meeting the fruitfulness of the Eucharist will be manifested for evangelization and the renewal of faith in the Latin American continent”. [1]
• “The Eucharistic Congress to be held in Quito should be that voice with a Latin American accent for the Church of the whole world. It will be a voice of hope that announces itself from this Continent of Hope. It will seek to be that prophetic voice that will proclaim to all that Fraternity is the only possible way to make and build a new world.” [1]
• “Fraternity to heal the world” was the theme chosen by Pope Francis for this Eucharistic Congress. We know that there are many wounds in the world, we cannot deny them. The men and women of today suffer from these wounds. Do we know how to look at our suffering brothers and sisters? Do we know how to listen to the voice of those who cry out from their wounds? Do we know how to heal these wounds? Are we ready to be “Eucharistic missionaries” of fraternity? [1]
• “The Eucharist leads us to be builders of Fraternity … The Eucharistic Congress will make us fully aware that we are “Eucharistic missionaries of Fraternity” and together we will raise the Psalm of Fraternity: “Help us, Lord, to be Church in the synodal journey, always brothers and now without hatred, selfishness or rancour, let us taste the intimate peace of dialogue and love, you the balm that heals wounds, wounds of the world that cry out to you”. [1]
This is the problem with Rome’s ecumenical movement, and the reason we can never be part of it. The foundation of Pope Francis’ universal fraternity is the Sunday Eucharist. Rome is emphasizing this in its evangelism. They are not putting the past behind them; rather, they are intensifying their efforts to spread the wine of Babylon throughout the world. Francis is urging everyone to move beyond ecumenical dialogue and unite with him in solidarity. This is the fulfillment of the following inspired statement:
“Those who become confused in their understanding of the Word, who fail to see the meaning of antichrist, will surely place themselves on the side of antichrist” (Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, p. 949).
The entire world is being bound together into the great apostate “fraternity” found in Revelation 13, 17, and 18. These important prophetic chapters describe the final union of the world in one body to oppose God and His truth. These events take place just before the second coming of Jesus.
The end is nearer than we think. God’s word clearly foretold this crisis hour, which is upon us. Can we remain indifferent as we witness the fulfillment of Bible prophecy? Are we ready for the storm to break? Shall we fear and tremble or prepare ourselves for this trying hour that is about to come upon the whole earth? What are you and I doing about it?
“Deal faithfully with wrongdoing. Warn every soul that is in danger. Leave none to deceive themselves. Call sin by its right name. Declare what God has said in regard to lying, Sabbathbreaking, stealing, idolatry, and every other evil. ‘They which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.’ Galatians 5:21.” (Desire of Ages, p. 805).
“We should cry aloud, and spare not, and show the people their transgressions. We are not to cringe, and beg pardon of the world for telling them the truth. We should scorn concealment. Unfurl your true colors to the gaze of men and angels. Let it be understood that Seventh-day Adventists can make no compromise. In our opinions and faith there must not be the least appearance of wavering. The world has a right to expect something of us, and will look upon us as dishonest, as hiding our real sentiments and principles out of policy, if we present even the semblance of being uncommitted.” (Review and Herald, January 31, 1893).

Satan is a smooth operator! Master mind with millennia of experience, he and his minions will entangle the unsuspecting masses in his trap, and lead them over to the abysmal precipice of eternal destruction.
But we are not ignorant of his machinations!! Thanks be to the Prophetic writings of God’s servants the prophets.
