Don’t let this happen. It is scheduled for December 2021. Don’t allow the youth of our church to serve as incubators for Rome. Let us give you some background on this situation.
The Taize Pilgrimages are annual ecumenical gatherings created for young people between the ages of 17 and 30. Every year these 5-day ecumenical gatherings, called the European Young Adult Meetings and the International Young Adult Meetings, are held in different locations throughout the world. [1] The organization responsible for conducting these interfaith pilgrimages is called the Taize Community. This is an ecumenical fraternity made up of celibate monks who are Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican and Evangelical. [2]
The Taize Community is a one-of-a-kind monastery dedicated to promoting unity among the churches. This religious order was started in 1940 by a Protestant theologian simply known as Brother Roger. Today this monastery of ecumenical monks is headed by a German Roman Catholic called Brother Alois. Biblical truth means nothing to the Taize Community because this religious order shuns Bible doctrine and focuses only on meditative prayers, spiritual exercises, chanting, singing and interfaith unity. [2]
In 2019, the interfaith Taize gatherings were held in Wroclaw, Poland and Cape Town, South Africa. In 2018 they brought their message of ecumenical unity to Madrid, Spain and Hong Kong. Previous events were held in France, United Kingdom, Rome, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, United States, Portugal, Croatia, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Latvia, Kenya, Philippines, India, Bolivia, Chile, Rwanda, Lithuania, Mexico and Benin.
At their events the Taize monks promote candle-lighting and non-doctrinal messages that don’t mention sin, obedience, truth or repentance. There is no talk about behavior or morality. These types of meetings are for people who do not want the Bible or its doctrines, but who still want to be spiritual. They want the feeling of fulfillment without any commitment to the teachings of God’s word.
About 20,000 young people attend each of the Taize Pilgrimages organized by the Roman Catholic Monk, Brother Alois, from the Taize Community. Their non-doctrinal unity of brotherhood is in line with the Vatican’s agenda on ecumenism. Pope Francis loves this religious order. Prayers, chanting, singing and sentimentalism form the perfect faith without creeds where everyone can unite. Not only does the Vatican endorse this kind of empty Christianity, all of the churches are starting to embrace it.The different faith communities from cities around the world have been inviting Brother Alois and the Taize Community to bring their non-doctrinal spirituality to their local churches because the young people love this kind of principle-free spirituality. Brother Alois has been holding these events in locations around the world for years.
Here is an inside look at how these Taize ecumenical events work. Back in 2017 the interfaith community in Turin, Italy was competing with other cities across Europe for the highly coveted chance of bringing Brother Alois to their city. Faith leaders in Turin, Italy wanted to experience the Taize Pilgrimage event for themselves and their young people.
So the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Turin, Cesare Nosiglia, along with Baptist, Adventist, Orthodox and Evangelical leaders signed a letter soliciting Brother Alois and the Tiaize Commuity to come to Turin, Italy to host their event. These faith leaders were trying to convince Brother Alois that Turin, Italy was a wonderful prospect for the Taize Pilgrimage calendar schedule. [4]
In their letter, the leaders listed above were basically begging the Taize Community to please come and host their meeting for the young people of Turin. They were saying that the churches in Turin, Italy are united – Catholics, Adventists, Baptists, Orthodox and Evangelicals. They were telling Brother Alois that they trusted him with their young people and that it was their “desire” that “young people from throughout the continent” could “come together for a European meeting organized by your (Taize) community in our city.” [4]
How do we know this happened? Because Rome’s ecumenical agent, Brother Alois, published their letter along with the signatures of all the different churches online. [4] Remember, this is just ONE city. Brother Alois and the Taize Commuity are receiving invitations from cities around the world by the different ecumenical faith communities!
Francesco Mosca is the Seventh-day Adventist leader who signed the letter inviting the Tiaze Community to come and share their message and spirituality with the young people from across the European “continent.” Francesco Mosca is from the Italian Association of Adventist Pastoral Families, a ministry that serves the pastors and their families at the Italian Union of Seventh-day Adventist Churches. [5] The above image is from Francesco Mosca’s Linkedin page. It shows that he is a graduate from both Andrews University and the Pontifical Gregorian University, a Jesuit university located in Rome that was started in 1551 by Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit Order. [6]
But it gets even worse. Brother Alois accepted the invitation to go to Turin, Italy. The plan to indoctrinate the youth, including Seventh-day Adventist youth, was scheduled for this year, December 2020. But we learned just two weeks ago FROM THE VATICAN that the event was postponed until December 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Vatican reported:
“Due to the health crisis, the 43rd European Youth Meeting, the now traditional event organized by the Taize community at the end of each year, has been postponed to the New Year 2021. The meeting was to be held on the 28th next December 31 in Turin but, given the uncertainty about the evolution of the pandemic in the coming months, the Christian communities promoting the event, including the Archdiocese of Turin, have decided to postpone it.” [7]
The Vatican is deeply involved in the Taize Pilgrimage because they know all of the intimate details about the event scheduled for Turin, Italy. Not only is Rome involved but they also revealed that the 2021 Taize Pilgrimage started with an invitation by the different churches, including Adventists, back in 2017. This is what the Vatican reported:
“The first invitation dates back to 2017 and was signed by the heads of the Waldensian, Baptist, Romanian Orthodox, Evangelical Lutheran, Adventist churches, as well as by Archbishop Cesare Nosiglia and the heads of the Catholic and Evangelical commissions for ecumenism, of the secretariat for ecumenical activities and for young people from groups attached to Taizé.” [7]
So Seventh-day Adventists were part of an ecumenical group of leaders who lobbied to bring the Taize Pilgrimage to their city to minister to their youth. Then we have two additional Catholic news sources that revealed how the young participants, our youth, will be singing and chanting before the Holy Shroud of Turin, the world-famous Catholic relic. The Shroud of Turin is a relic that is venerated by Roman Catholics. They bow down and kneel before it because they believe that it was the burial cloth of Jesus. And this Catholic relic will be incorporated in the worship program for the participants during the 2021 Taize Pilgrimage celebration:
“Tens of thousands of young Christians from across Europe were expected to see in the New Year with chants and silent prayer, including before the Shroud of Turin. But the Dec. 28-Jan. 1 Taize pilgrimage to Turin has been postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The Archdiocese of Turin and the local Waldensian, Baptist, Romanian Orthodox, Lutheran and Adventist churches began planning the event in 2017. And the archdiocese, which is the custodian of the shroud, announced in January that it would include a special display of the shroud just for pilgrimage participants.” [8] [9]
Is this what we want for our youth? Catholic chanting in front of Catholic relics? The veneration of relics has a long history in Roman Catholicism. For centuries Catholics have prostrated themselves before these relics. They burn candles to them, they pray to them and they honor them, instead of seeking to be grounded in the Word of God.
“To afford converts from heathenism a substitute for the worship of idols, and thus to promote their nominal acceptance of Christianity, the adoration of images and relics was gradually introduced into the Christian worship” (Great Controversy, p. 52).
“The worship of images and relics, the invocation of saints, and the exaltation of the pope, are devices of Satan to attract the minds of the people from God and from his Son” (Great Controversy, p. 568).
Again, is this what we want to expose our youth to? People want the bones or some kind of object that belonged to the apostles, martyrs and saints, instead of desiring to live like them. We want something physical that can connect us to Christ, instead of wanting to imitate His life. Relics are considered sacred and often become the object of our affection and devotion.
Thousands of churches across Europe have made astonishing claims of having the nails that pierced Christ on the cross. They claim to have the coins used by Judas to betray Christ and the thorns from Christ’s crown. Some churches claimed to have pieces of wood from the cross, while others showed what was supposed to be the head of John the Baptist or the bones of some of the saints. Some even claimed to possess the breast milk of the Virgin Mary.
All of these unverified and absurd claims were used to seduce the people into idolatry as they venerated these relics. It was also very profitable. There were salesmen who would tell you that if you bought a relic you would obtain the grace and favor of God. “Don’t read the Bible; don’t live a self-denying life,” they said, “but if you buy or possess several relics, you can reduce your time in purgatory.”
The Holy Shroud of Turin is no different. Ministry Magazine, a Seventh-day Adventist publication, exposed the Shroud of Turin as a hoax. They showed how it was not in harmony with the biblical record. The Shroud of Turin lacks the testimony of history, it lacks any trace of bloodstains and it is not like any grave cloths found during the time of Christ. Here is an official Seventh-day Adventist statement on the Shroud of Turin:
“The weight of evidence from Scripture, history, and science indicates that the Shroud of Turin is not the actual covering for our Lord’s body in death.” [10]
In spite of this, Rome is making a lot of money from this modern day relic. Do a search for “Holy Shroud Merchandise” or “Holy Shroud Souvenirs” in your search engine and you will see the popularity of relics and the money they generate. It is a very dishonest but profitable business for the church.
“Many who had been unwilling to heed the counsels of Moses while he was with them would have been in danger of committing idolatry over his dead body had they known the place of his burial. For this reason it was concealed from men” (Patriarchs and Prophets, pp. 477, 478).
Why did God hide the body of Moses? So that the Jews wouldn’t worship his tomb or bones. This is the origin of this evil. We must also conclude that if worshiping the body or bones of Moses had been a sin, then today, the veneration of things associated with the body of Jesus or the saints is also sin. Tragically, today, those who call themselves Christians are following in the same footsteps as the pagans. They are prostrating themselves and kneeling before the relics as if they were worshipping God.
What we are seeing today is the Omega of Apostasy. We have never seen anything like this before. This goes way beyond the history and teachings of Adventism. The faith is being attacked from within. We are being pushed to the precipice by ungodly influences. Too many of our pastors and leaders are dead asleep and stand silent as Rome’s propaganda, which has no place in any of our institutions, is being forced upon our people and our CHILDREN.
This is evil, and the evil is here. Evil is not just knocking on the door; it has made its way inside the church. It’s seeking to neutralize or destroy our very faith, the Three Angel’s Message, which if proclaimed, would unmask Satan’s masterful deceptions. These are not our words, these are the words of inspiration:
“The prophets of God spoke less for their own time than for the ages to come, and especially for the generation that would live amid the last scenes of this earth’s history” (Signs of the Times, January 13, 1898).
“Each of the ancient prophets spoke less for their own time than for ours, so that their prophesying is in force for us” (Selected Messages, Book 3, p. 338).
And what did the ancient prophets write that applies to us today? Please read the following with great care because this describes what God’s ancient people did and how it is being repeated again in Adventism:
“But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Psalm 106:35-39.
It should be to our great dismay and shock what Seventh-day Adventist leaders are planning. They plan to push Catholic teachings, Catholic mysticism and Catholic relics upon our young people. Don’t let this happen. This type of work or mandate does not come from God. Catholic relics and traditions are a substitute for the Holy Scriptures. They are used to maintain control over the members. They are also distractions so that we are not talking about the ever growing child-sex abuse (rape) by priests and the homosexual clergy that is pushing pantheism and the green Sunday law (Laudatdo Si’).
You cannot be a Seventh-day Adventist and support what is being planned in Turin, Italy on December 2021. The only responses to this event are the words which Jesus uttered when reproving Peter, His own disciple:
“But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Matthew 16:23.
What was the problem? Peter was pushing the words and policies of man, and not the teachings of God. This same rebuke and admonition applies to many of our pastors and leaders within the church who have abandoned our historic mission and message and are promoting Rome’s traditions.
Nothing that is being planned in Turin, Italy can be sanctioned by the Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy. These men are leading God’s flock astray. If we remain silent, we become complicit. Silence in the face of the Omega of Apostasy is itself an act of apostasy. Shame on anyone who would support or defend this behavior or who dares stand in silence.
If we don’t stop this, if we let this happen, if we subject our children to the modern priests of Baal and allow the young impressionable minds of our youth to be filled with poison, then on the day of judgment we will stand condemned by the apostles, the martyrs, the reformers and our pioneers for this great betrayal. We all remember what Christ said about people who offend even the smallest of his children, that it is better for them to be thrown into the sea with millstones around their necks. (Matthew 18:6).
But it’s not just our children who are being offended. Christ is offended too! So are all the churches. Can we even begin to imagine that these heathen interfaith events are helping Protestants and Catholics come closer to embracing the final warning messages of Revelation 14:6-12? They too are caused to stumble by what is being done. We are driving them further away into disobedience and lawlessness. Instead, we must wake up those who still have a chance to wake up.
Pictured above are the Executive Officers and Vice Presidents of the General Conference. They are the highest leaders in the church who currently hold the reigns. [11] This is all happening under their watch. Tell them to stop our youth from participating in this abominable celebration scheduled for December 2021 in Turin, Italy. This is not a private matter. Rome is declaring these things before the world.

This is also NOT an isolated incident. Don’t believe the lie that this is just another pastor in Italy who has done all this all on his own. No. This is not the first encounter between Seventh-day Adventists and the Roman Catholic Monk, Brother Alois. Pierre Kempf, a professor at the Adventist University in France, met with the Monks at the Taize Community. He is listed as a Seventh-day Adventist representative under the “Protestant and Evangelical Churches” category during a separate ecumenical event with the Taize Community. [12]
Also in Lund, Sweden, 1) Pope Francis; 2) Ganoune Diop, Seventh-day Adventist Public Relations and Religious Liberty Director from the General Conference; and 3) Brother Alois were all three on the very same program schedule commemorating the END of the Protestant Reformation during the 500 year anniversary. Pope Francis was listed on page 1 of the program schedule as a “global host” for the event. Ganoune Diop and the Seventh-day Adventist Church were listed on page 3. And Brother Alois was listed on page 4 as a representative of the “Ecumenical Communities.” [13]
There they were. All three were commemorating the healing between Rome and Martin Luther (Lutherans), the same Luther who believed that the Pope was the Antichrist. Adventists were on the same program schedule with all the churches and even the kings of the earth were listed too. They prayed together. They sang together. They worshiped together during this prophetic healing of the deadly wound ceremony (Revelation 13:3).
And now plans are being made to indoctrinate our young people with the same mystical Roman Catholic philosophies. For God’s sake, for the sake of the scattered flock that is being decimated and for the sake of the world, stop this scandalous event planned for December 2021.
“What position will the church take? Will those who in the past have had respect for the law of God, be drawn into the current of evil? Will the almost universal transgression and contempt of the law of God, darken the spiritual atmosphere of the souls of all alike? Will the disrespect of the law of God sweep away the protecting barriers? Because wickedness and lawlessness prevail, is the law of God to be less highly esteemed? Because it is made void by the great majority of those living on the earth, shall the few loyal ones become like all the disloyal, and act as the wicked act? Shall they not rather offer up the prayer of David, ‘It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law’ ” (Bible Commentary, Vol. 3, p. 1153).
Faithfulness to God, faithfulness to the Word of God and faithfulness to the church leaves us with no other choice than to denounce and resist this diabolical event described above. Charles Spurgeon, the English Baptist preacher, said it best when he wrote the following words that describe our current condition:
“Having enough faults of their own, they (God’s people) were yet ready to go to the school of the filthy Canaanites and educate themselves still more in the arts of iniquity. It was certain that they could learn no good from men whom the Lord condemned to utter destruction. Few would wish to go to the condemned cell for learning, yet Israel sat at the feet of accursed Canaan and rose up proficient in every abomination” (Charles Spurgeon).
