When others are misled by our influence, inspiration tells us that we must take whatever means to correct the error. And we must do so to the extent that is within our grasp. We find this principle in inspiration.
“When certain Jews who were zealous for the ceremonial law, came from Jerusalem, Peter injudiciously changed his deportment toward the converts from paganism. A number of the Jews ‘dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.’ This revelation of weakness on the part of those who had been respected and loved as leaders, left a most painful impression on the minds of the Gentile believers. The church was threatened with division. But Paul, who saw the subverting influence of the wrong done to the church through the double part acted by Peter, openly rebuked him for thus disguising his true sentiments. In the presence of the church, Paul inquired of Peter, “If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?” Galatians 2:13, 14. Peter saw the error into which he had fallen, and immediately set about repairing the evil that had been wrought, so far as was in his power.” (Acts of the Apostles, p. 197).
When the apostle Paul saw that the truth was being publicly slandered before the church and others were carried away by wrong examples, what did Paul say or do? An immediate public rebuke and correction was given before the entire church and wrongs were made right as far as the damage was done in order to avoid further scandal to the cause of Christ. Inspiration says that Peter acknowledged his error and went about “repairing the evil.” That is what God wants. That is what He expects. This is not doing the bare minimum but making a true, full restitution.
In March 2021, Adventist World published Ted Wilson’s distorted comments on the mark of the beast. Ted Wilson stated that the mark of the beast could apply to “a day” or “any day” other than Saturday. [1] This vague and ambiguous statement about the mark of the beast could lead one to believe that the mark of the beast may apply to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or perhaps Sunday. So how many people were exposed to this new modern interpretation? Notice that many people receive Adventist World:
“Adventist World has a truly global readership: almost 1.5 million copies per month are printed and distributed free of charge to members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 7 languages, in 8 countries, on 5 continents, to over 150 countries. Another version, Adventist World Digest is printed quarterly in Russian, Serbian, Hungarian. [2]
Brothers and sisters, the damage was done on a global scale, and the correction must go that far as well. Last week, Ted Wilson made a correction on this important issue about the mark of the beast during his sermon on Saturday at ASI. He changed his interpretation about the mark of the beast and applied it specifically to Sunday. [3] But now it turns out that his Sabbath sermon does not appear on the ASI, 3ABN or Hope Channel platforms. Why is that? I got an email from someone who said they tuned into ASI’s YouTube channel for the live stream on Saturday. They have Friday’s show available, but they posted a message saying that Saturday’s broadcast would not be available. Why is that?
Yes, you can find Ted Wilson’s full sermon on his Twitter page, but the sermon appears to have been recorded on a mobile phone. The sound is so poor that you almost have to decipher what is being said. While we welcome that Ted Wilson is espousing our historic landmarks, we hope this important issue is not politicized. Posting this important development on the mark of the beast on his personal Twitter account with terrible audio doesn’t make the cut. The damage was done in Adventist World, and a correction should be posted there as well. Inspiration tells us that Peter recognized his mistake and set about trying to repair the damage, to the best of his ability. Brothers and sisters, anything less than this will not meet with God’s approval.

Amen,
Decided to download the video, who knows if it will available if needed in the near future, hopefully this video gets a wide circulation.

Mat 23:3 “All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.”
There is nothing new under the sun. Sadly, Elder Wilson’s remarks have no credibility with me until there are works to back them up.
Thanks for your perspective on this Andy.

Why are they going to wait until 2023 and 2024 to mail out 1 million copies of the great controversy (full version) why not now? why the delay? they are not lacking the funds or the printing presses to accomplish this so again why the delay? We have been told “Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones.–Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 11. {ChS 52.2}” What does their delay say (Matthew 24:48 …My Lord delayeth his coming) And so I ask again why the delay start the presses now stop waiting and start printing people are dying to hear the truth.

Thank you for posting that link I’m equal parts intrigued and shocked that they would attempt to run the same PROJECT scam a second time,
If they had repented of ripping people off the first time they might have made some kind of official apology,
Wonder what they will deliver instead this time?

“A double minded man is unstable in ALL his WAYS.” James 1:8. Emphasis supplied.
Can we trust leaders who won’t even stand up for the Bible truth on the status of an unborn child? (it IS a child that God recognizes as a person: example Jeremiah)
Can we trust leaders that allow lgbtqia to have a presence on our campuses, baptized into our churches, appointed to leadership positions while actively engaging in behaviors that God calls an abomination? (This includes those who choose to dress in that which pertains to the opposite sex: God calls it an abomination!)
Can we trust in leaders that get their degrees from institutions that are not of our faith? (though I must say at this point that many of the institutions that carry our name are that in name only…Even E.G. White warned parents to NOT send their children to the flagship educational institution of Battle Creek for a time…really; I think she would be appalled by what the church has become. She probably would not even recognize ANY of it from the top to the bottom and all the branches too)
Can we trust in leaders who have for YEARS been inviting and courting RCC writers and presenters, and others not of our faith into our churches AND homes via our publications, retreats, symposiums, seminars, ‘bridging events’, conference required meetings for pastoral training, direct invitation for speaking engagements, Sabbath school workshops and publications? just look at WHO has written and currently contributes to our adult Sabbath school quarterly… read their bio and look up where they received their education…it is absolutely SHOCKING! Look up the presenters/guest speakers for conference advertised and sponsored men’s or women’s retreats. They have guest speakers that are not men or women who we should be seeking advice or instruction from! (Mind you that I did NOT say all of the speakers.)
How long would you tolerate a gps that kept guiding you down the wrong road? How long would you keep reading a book/manual that was giving you misleading information? We need to go back to where we know the true path is…see and ask for the old paths…Jeremiah 6:16. That path is found by those who keep the commandments of God and have the Testimony of Jesus which is the Spirit of Prophecy. Emphasis supplied.
I pray that our leaders confess their sins and repent that they may be saved, as we all need to be doing…

Would be great if he could also give greater clarity on why he uplifted the Rosacrucian flower arrangements at Russia, not going to forget that incident any time soon
