Welcome to the new sexual morality as 1 million new cases of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are being diagnosed every day. [1] Thanks to the new dating apps and to the new sexual revolution, mankind has gone from worshipping God to worshipping the lusts of the flesh.
Did we really believe that sex without commitment would have no consequence? What did we think was going to happen when people go from one sexual partner to the next and to the next and to the next and to the next? These catastrophic, sexual infections (STDs) have turned into an epidemic. This crisis will happen anytime you adopt Hollywood’s sexual lifestyle and start having sex with hundreds if not thousands of partners.
God designed sex to be enjoyed by one man and one women who are committed to each other in holy matrimony. But the devil tells you:
“Who needs marital vows? Who needs commitment? Who needs obedience to God’s commandments? It’s all about you! It’s all about what makes you feel good and what makes you feel happy. Forget about the consequences. Sleep with whoever you want and with however many people you want because it’s all about gratifying the flesh.”
What are the results? Super-gonorrhea, STDs, HIV, AIDS, broken hearts, broken families, misery and in some cases death. We’ve taken our eyes off of God and have rejected His standards of right and wrong. This generation no longer believes in any kind of absolutes anymore.
God’s commandments were never designed to restrict our freedoms or liberties. No. They were given so that we can have the highest possible standard of freedom, joy and happiness.
“Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.” Deuteronomy 4:40.
