In his recent appeal, Pope Leo XVI calls for full communion among all religions and for the rejection of all forms of “fundamentalism.” At first glance, this may sound like a simple invitation to global unity—but it isn’t. His own words make it clear that there will be no room for those who stand firmly on Scripture or who proclaim the distinct end-time warnings of Revelation 13 and 14. Rome’s vision of universal fraternity and its emerging global spiritual-economic order will ultimately exclude faithful Adventists who proclaim the Third Angel’s Message.
On November 28, 2025, the Vatican released the following statement from Pope Leo XIV:
• “The more we are reconciled, the more we Christians can bear credible witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is a proclamation of hope for all. Moreover, it is a message of peace and universal fraternity that transcends the boundaries of our communities and nations.” [1]
• “The desire for full communion among all believers in Jesus Christ is always accompanied by the search for fraternity among all human beings.” [1]
• “There is a universal fraternity of men and women regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion or personal perspectives.” [1]
• “Furthermore, we must strongly reject the use of religion for justifying war, violence, or any form of fundamentalism or fanaticism. Instead, the paths to follow are those of fraternal encounter, dialogue and cooperation.” [1]
The Vatican defines unity in terms of universal fraternity, not in terms of biblical truth. The “fraternity” Pope Leo XIV promotes is not grounded in the commandments of God or in the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12), but in the deliberate setting aside of doctrinal differences so Christianity can speak with a single, ecumenical voice. This is not inclusive because it will only include those who do not challenge the authority of Rome and those who do not expose their sins.
Seventh-day Adventists believe that the “beast” in Bible prophecy refers to the papal system, which will one day lead the world to accept the mark of the beast. Because of that, the kind of world unity Rome wants cannot include people who warn others about this or who identify the papacy as the Antichrist. Our message—the Three Angels’ Messages—doesn’t fit with the global religious unity the Pope is trying to create. That’s why he tells people to reject what he calls “fundamentalism” and “fanaticism,” which, in Catholic teaching, includes anyone who puts the Bible above church tradition.
The truth is that the Three Angels’ Messages are God’s final warning for the last days. In Revelation 14, these messages are sent to “every nation, kindred, tongue, and people” as heaven’s last great act of mercy before Jesus returns. They lift up Christ as the only Savior, expose the dangers of false worship, and call people into a relationship with God that is built on obedience, faith, and trust. If the world listens to this final message—if individuals choose to worship the Creator, come out of Babylon, and reject the mark of the beast—then the way is opened for them to receive eternal life in Christ’s kingdom.

Light = Truth, darkness = error. Unity can only come when we accept and walk in the light/Truth which is God’s Word:
“5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ”

Christ Jesus has brought light/Truth into this world, but men love darkness/error rather than light/Truth because their deeds/works were evil, so this is why they attempt to get rid of the fundamentalist/those who chose to walk in thelight/Truth:
“16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. ”

There can not be any unity with those who despise God and keep not His ways:
“14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. ”

Pope Leo XIV Comes from the Mendican Friars (The Augustinian Order). This is the Catholic order which carried out the inquistion in the DARK AGES. This is the order that persecuted the faithful christians. According to this article, it seems that he is basically opposed to those Fundamentalist christians who firmly oppose the -ecumenical unity, which brings together all the fallen churches of Babylon. He (Pope Leo XIV) , he dislikes all the christians who uphold the Biblical truth against the traditions of the Catholic Church. The World Council of Churches (W.C.C) is the prophesied bandwagon the whore of Revelation 17, which deceiveth the whole world into deception. This world body of churches is being led by the Jesuits of Rome and now the General Conference of the Seventh Day Adventists have also been infiltrated by the Jesuits of Rome into the W.C.C through the branch of Christian World Communions. In the book called ” Keys of this Blood” authored by Jesuit Priest late Malachi Martins says; reveals that Rome is going to target the animist groups who oppose the coming New World Order and the Ecumenical movement under the banner of Rome. The Catholics and Apostate PROTESTANTS
He says ,Abrahamic Church of God, Advent Christian, Seventh Day Adventists despite having differences among themselves are one in opposing the whoredom of Rome. These christian groups clearly are basically a threat to Rome’s universal agenda of dominating the world? Rome fears the independent movements in the Seventh Day Adventists because they are not easily to infiltrate , because they unmask the Papacy real agenda of the world domination. The three angels messages was given by God to the Seventh Day Adventists to warn the world against the worship of the image and the mark of the beast but the most significant thing is to worship the creator of the heavens and the earth.
In the forthcoming New World Order , it’s the religious dimension where the New World Order will have the greatest impact. Any religious sect that opposses Rome and the ecumenical movement will be labeled as the cult. Those christians who oppose the worldly laws that defy the God of Heavens and obey his commandments including the sabbath (fourth commandment) will be labeled as the enemies of the law and order. The punitive economic measures will be put in place to punish the so called heretical fanatics and fundamentalists. The faithful remnant God’s people will be isolated and targeted for disobeying the secular governments who have co-operated with Rome. The Catholics and Apostate protestants will unite to persecute the true christians who will hold firmly the biblical truth, and they will suffer severe persecutions ever to be meted throught the world history.
