On Sabbath, April 11, 2026—day four of the Loud Cry International Convocation—I found myself at Camp Blue Ridge in Clayton, Georgia, seated with a group of pastors and leaders discussing the messages of Revelation 14, the end times, the urgency of avoiding compromise, and the call to revival and reformation. We engaged attentively with faithful Adventists from across the nation—some having traveled from as far as California and Alaska—who came to hear words of encouragement and reaffirm the certainty of our message and mission. For me, it was a personal blessing to sit with a diverse group of leaders united in present truth.
Ellen G. White offers the following counsel to all who wholeheartedly and faithfully still believe in these messages:
“Union is strength; division is weakness. When those who believe present truth are united, they exert a telling influence. Satan well understands this. Never was he more determined than now to make of none effect the truth of God by causing bitterness and dissension among the Lord’s people” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 236).
The 2026 Loud Cry International (LCI) Convocation was a wonderful opportunity for conservative, present-truth Seventh-day Adventists to experience a genuine sense of belonging. It was a true blessing for those who feel unsupported, as well as for those who often feel alone. This was not a meeting of disgruntled individuals but a gathering of faithful believers who love Jesus, love the church, cherish our historic message, and are earnest in their desire to see the work finished so that we may finally go home.
Notice the following counsel given to us in this trying time of earth’s history:
“Press together, press together, press together. Do not let Satan cast his hellish shadow between brethren. Press together; in unity there is strength” (Selected Messages, Vol. 2, p. 374).
Unity is part of present truth and is designed to strengthen each one of us. This was a season of unity centered on the third angel’s message—a message that, to a large degree, is no longer being emphasized in many Adventist circles. Many who attended the 2026 LCI camp meeting shared that they do not hear the kinds of messages presented there in their local churches. There was a time when every church was a present-truth church, but sadly, we are now living in the days when a great shaking is coming, and many will not endure it.
“In the last vision given me, I was shown the startling fact that but a small portion of those who now profess the truth will be sanctified by it and be saved” (Testimonies, Vol. 1, p. 608).
“I have stated before them that, from what was shown me, but a small number of those now professing to believe the truth would eventually be saved” (Testimonies, Vol. 2, p. 445).
Ellen G. White is seeking to awaken our people spiritually—not to discourage them. Her message is a warning that we must hold firmly to present truth. But it is not enough to merely profess belief in the truth; we must be sanctified by it in order to stand in the days ahead (John 17:17; Revelation 3:10). The good news is that God has never been without a faithful people. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals a consistent pattern: even when the majority drifted away, God preserved a loyal remnant who remained true to Him. I pray that you and I will be part of that faithful minority, not the compromised majority.
“The world is against us, the popular churches are against us, the laws of the land will soon be against us. If there was ever a time when the people of God should press together, it is now. God has committed to us the special truths for this time to make known to the world. The last message of mercy is now going forth. We are dealing with men and women who are judgment bound. How careful should we be in every word and act to follow closely the Pattern, that our example may lead men to Christ” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 236).
For those who were unable to attend the event, LCI is planning to host another camp meeting next year — obviously, if Christ hasn’t returned before then. Perhaps then you’ll have the opportunity to join us and experience the wonderful unity among end-time, present-truth reformers that filled the meetings.
