Rosie Adventist School is a Seventh-Day Adventist educational institution operating in Brigudas and located within the Tripura Region of Northeast India. [1] The Tripura Region is an administrative and missionary territory of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and its work includes evangelism, pastoral ministry, church development, Christian education, and community outreach. The Tripura Region operates under the Northeast Indian Union, the governing body responsible for overseeing the denomination’s work in that entire region. [2]
Rosie Adventist School has just celebrated Happy Teacher’s Day Celebration 2026 with a performance that promoted entertainment through the feminization of boys. The audience applauded and laughed as young boys, dressed in girls’ clothing, moved their bodies on stage in a shameful display of foolishness.
This has no place in a Christian school. It is confusion. God created male and female (Genesis 1:27), not a distortion of either. Boys wearing dresses in a worldly dance spectacle openly contradicts God’s order in creation and His Word, which declares that a man shall not wear a woman’s garment (Deuteronomy 22:5).
These children did not invent this, nor did they rehearse or perform it on their own. Adults have to approve it and include it in the program. At best, this dance was a reckless abandonment of spiritual discernment and an abdication of the duty to train children in the fear of the Lord. At worst it is the kind of grooming that precedes greater and worse abominations.
Adventist education exists for a sacred purpose: to educate young people according to biblical principles and to help form Christian character. When an Adventist institution abandons that responsibility and deliberately encourages young boys to cross-dress for entertainment, we have every right to ask, “What on earth is happening with the school’s administrators?” Children are impressionable. A Christian school should be helping its students develop modesty, dignity, self-control, and a biblical understanding of sexuality—not deliberately distorting their sexual identity for laughs, applause, and entertainment.
To say that “it was only a joke” does not settle the matter. What teachers and administrators allow to be paraded in their schools teaches children what adults consider normal, harmless, and worthy of imitating. A school cannot claim that character formation is central to Adventist education and then pretend that the messages communicated through its entertainment are morally insignificant.
There are instances when certain actions deserve counsel. This is not one of them. What was staged at that school is completely inappropriate and indefensible. Making our boys act like girls is never acceptable. Those responsible must be held fully accountable. Heads must roll. Terminations are warranted and must follow. If no one is held to account, no one will take the line between right and wrong seriously again. Contact the leaders who actually have authority to stop this abomination:

This is the standard throughout all education institutions run in S A Division
You didn’t understand until reading this comment that basically ALL males wear what you call a dress in these cultures?
It has absolutely nothing to do with cross-dressing.
Beware that YOU are not the one to cause SDAs to be shunned because of ridiculous, unbiblical errors.
