The United States has become a society where chaos and fury rule instead of justice and order. We live in an age increasingly defined by violent and uncontrollable behavior. Tragedy after tragedy erupts as reckless acts of destruction and murder continue to plague our communities. The cycle of violence is boiling over in America. Peace, love, and joy are disappearing as our society tries to make sense of the most recent, senseless act of death—and there are many to choose from.
• On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk, a pro-life, Christian conservative commentator, was assassinated in front of 3,000 students at a Utah university. [1]
• Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska tragically had her life taken away from her on August 22, 2025, when she was repeatedly stabbed while riding a train in North Carolina by a man with a long criminal history. [2]
• On August 27, 2025, children were tragically shot and killed while praying when an assassin opened fire through the windows of a church in Minneapolis. [3]
This has tragically become the norm in our society today. A deep sickness is running through this country. Real evil exists in the world, and sinister forces stand ready to destroy the lives of their fellow citizens. Yet before these acts of violence can be carried out, something even darker must occur: the value and humanity of people must first be stripped away. They are no longer regarded as neighbors or as souls created in the image of God, but rather as enemies deemed unworthy of life.
In Scripture, this reality is taking place today as described in Psalm 2:1—“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?”
Paul describes this same situation as well: “Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:15-18.
The rage of the nations represents a society inflamed by passion, unchecked by violence, and an unwillingness to submit to the law of God. When rage governs, violence becomes the natural outflow, and lawlessness takes root. This unrest is not just social or political; it is evil at its core.
A people who refuse to acknowledge God’s authority inevitably cast aside His moral law, leaving themselves adrift in a sea of human pride and rebellion. Passion untempered by principle will always give way to chaos, and violence unchecked by righteousness becomes the prevailing order. In such a condition, nations not only rage against one another but ultimately rage against God Himself, setting their will in direct opposition to His divine rule.
“When the standard of righteousness is set aside, the way is open for the prince of evil to establish his power in the earth. Wherever the divine precepts are rejected, sin ceases to appear sinful or righteousness desirable” (Great Controversy, p. 584).
“Those who teach the people to lightly regard the commandments of God, sow disobedience, to reap disobedience. Let the restraint imposed by the divine law be wholly cast aside, and human laws would soon be disregarded … The civilized world would become a horde of robbers and assassins; and peace, rest, and happiness would be banished from the earth” (Great Controversy, p. 585).

“Soon our ministry will end, and each person will receive a reward according to his work. I showed a reward of saints, imperishable heritage, and I saw that it would not occur to those who had undergone for the sake of truth and it would not occur that they had difficult times. It would seem that it was quite easy to achieve the sky.
Every day a record is being recorded about an unfulfilled duty, neglect, selfishness, deceit, fraud, cunning. How many evil cases are collected by the day of the last court! When Christ comes, “His retribution will be with him and His business – before Him” in order to give everyone to his deeds. How much will open then! What embarrassment people will experience when their affairs will be found on the pages of history!
The subject of the hearts, to which all secrets are discovered, notes every good and bad act and its influence on others. Retribution will correspond to the motives that encouraged action.
The coming of Christ is close, it is rapidly approaching. There is very little time left for labor, and people die.
We need the transforming power of God to understand the needs of the dying world. The meaning of my news, addressed to you: get ready, get ready to meet the Lord. Correct your lamps, and let the light of truth shine everywhere. The world should be warned about the imminent onset of the end.
“The inhumanity of man towards man is our greatest sin” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 163). Whether it be the assassination of a high-profile person or the murder of an unknown citizen, the rape of a woman or the molestation of a child, the lost sense of the sacredness of life and the God-placed value of every human being jeopardises society as a whole. Sister White wrote in Education, p. 228 that “anarchy is seeking to sweep away all law, not only divine but human…the spirit of unrest, of riot and bloodshed, the world-wide dissemination of the same teachings that led to the French Revolution — all are tending to involve the whole world in a struggle similar to that which convulsed France.” All nations on this globe — and America in particular– will fully repeat what happened in France during the Reign of Terror. “America…where the greatest light from heaven has been shining upon the people, can become the place of the greatest peril and darkness, because the people do not continue to practice the truth and walk in the light” (Letter 23c, 1894).
Our only safety every day is to have our life hid with Christ in God. Tjis world is not our home — we seek a better country, even a heavenly, and for this planet of ours to be forever cleansed from the presence of evil at the end of the millennium. May our Lord Jesus Christ help us to be ready for His imminent return.
Charlie was a sabbath keeping Christian.
And a better Christian than a great many Adventists. He will have more stars on his crown than most.
Well when you have people who march for the “right” to SNUFF OUT BEATING HEARTS THAT HAVEN’T YET SINNED BY BEATING HEARTS THAT HAVE SINNED…..what does one expect?…When you have a nation with people and politicians promoting the INSANITY of TRANSBUTCHERY what do you expect?
There’s another reason for them to say that people need to go to church on Sunday to have immorality cease. It won’t be any better on the other side of the coin because of persecution that will come from legislating morality according to Revelation 13. It’s all coming together. People need to Wake Up and Adventist pastors need to prepare the flock for these times instead of lulling people to sleep 💤 with soft messages!
It is the duty of a nation to legislate morality when it does not involve the first 4 commandments.

A similar condition exists now. Appetite is indulged without restraint. Professed followers of Christ are eating and drinking with the drunken. Intemperance benumbs the moral and spiritual powers and prepares for indulgence of the lower passions. Multitudes become slaves of lust, living for the pleasures of sense. Extravagance pervades society. Integrity is sacrificed for luxury and display. Fraud, bribery, and theft stalk unrebuked. The issues of the press teem with records of crimes so cold-blooded that it seems as though every instinct of humanity were blotted out. And these atrocities have become so common that they hardly elicit surprise. The pent-up fires of lawlessness, having once escaped control, will fill the earth with woe and desolation. The antediluvian world represents the condition to which modern society is hastening. EP 58.1

There is a great work to be done. The last message of mercy is being given to the world. Everything in the political world is being stirred with agitation. There are wars and rumors of wars. The nations are angry”15LtMs, Lt 98, 1900, par. 1
We are living in the time of trouble. Everyone sets their eyes on some far away future event, when in reality we have been born into this ToT and don’t event realize it.
Dan.11:45 was filled when the Ottoman Empire came to their end at WW1. We are living in chapter 12. Be ready!
