In a bold declaration, Catholics for Catholics—an organization dedicated to promoting the Catholic faith by influencing the political and cultural arenas—announced on April 4, 2026, that the future in America is Catholic. [1] Citing a recent Fox News report highlighting surging adult conversions and growing interest among young people, this Catholic resurgence is reclaiming ground in the New World and drawing converts not just in the pews but in the public square.
THE FUTURE IN AMERICA 🇺🇸 IS CATHOLIC!
Some of the biggest increases are happening in liberal states such as California, NY and Chicago.

Rome is steadily regaining prominence through cultural acceptance, political engagement, and institutional influence. What was once resisted is now being openly embraced, revealing that the very system Protestantism protested is finding renewed footing at the heart of American life. There is a prophetic significance to this news, as this is one of the signs that we are entering the final crisis.
“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.” Luke 21:20.
When Jerusalem was surrounded by the armies of Rome, it was Christ’s unmistakable sign that the end was at the door. Christ had warned that the moment pagan Rome, with its idolatrous standards and imperial authority, encircled the holy city, the “abomination of desolation” had arrived in visible form (Matthew 24:15). Those Roman legions did not come quietly; they came bearing symbols of false worship, planting them where only the name of the true God should be honored. In that moment, Rome’s encircling power revealed that when God’s warnings are rejected, as they were by ancient Israel, the forces of destruction are not far behind.
Today, in these last days, the influence of Rome is once again rising through the spread of its principles, as its idolatrous standards are effectively being planted within Protestant America. A nation once founded in protest against religious tyranny is increasingly abandoning that protest, embracing doctrines, practices, and policies that reflect the very system it once resisted. This shift is seen most clearly in the growing union of political power with religious authority, a development described in Revelation 13.
“As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was the signal for flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power on the part of our nation in the decree enforcing the papal sabbath will be a warning to us. It will then be time to leave the large cities, preparatory to leaving the smaller ones for retired homes in secluded places among the mountains” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 464).
The “abomination of desolation” represents not only pagan Rome but also its continuation in a religio-political system that seeks to exalt human tradition above divine law. With the armies of Rome taking over and encircling Protestant America, false worship is about to be enforced not just here but throughout the world.
“When the idolatrous standards of the Romans should be set up in the holy ground, which extended some furlongs outside the city walls, then the followers of Christ were to find safety in flight” (Great Controversy, p. 26).
