The death of Charlie Kirk is being mourned as a tragic loss for the Christian conservative movement, yet it is also being leveraged as an opportunity to advance their religious agenda. In the wake of his assassination, voices on the political right are urging Americans to honor his legacy by “keeping the Sabbath,” a practice Kirk was reportedly preparing to promote in his upcoming book. At first glance, this call to honor the Sabbath may appear to be a simple tribute to Kirk. Yet beneath the surface lies a broader effort to elevate Sunday observance as the unifying principle of the Christian nationalist cause—an act with profound implications for America’s future.
On September 13, 2025, The New York Sun published an article titled “To Celebrate the Legacy of Charlie Kirk, Who Put a Premium on Faith, Honor the Sabbath.” In it, Sabbath—understood as “Sunday” by Christian nationalists—is being presented as the rallying point for uniting people of faith to “save civilization.”
• “The conservative activist leaves behind a nearly-completed book about the day of rest and worship — a biblical concept he championed in his personal life.” [1]
• “The stakes are too high. We have a nation — and a civilization — to save. So, we fight back our tears and we summon the fortitude to plow ahead. We do so not because it is easy but because it is right. An assassin may have permanently silenced Charlie, but we won’t let him silence us too.” [1]
• “There are two easy ways we can all honor Charlie’s legacy. At the time of his death, Charlie was putting the finishing touches on a book about the Sabbath — yet another biblical concept he championed in his personal life.” [1]
• “It would be a fitting tribute to Charlie — and the Hebrew Bible-rooted form of Christianity that he, like the American Founders, so greatly championed — for more Christians and Jews alike to honor Charlie by committing to honor the Sabbath just like he did.” [1]
• “We must also double down like never before in our commitment to free speech and the civil exchange of ideas. His martyrdom must galvanize younger conservatives like never before. We must not allow Charlie to have died in vain as a free speech martyr.” [1]
By seeking to sanctify the Sabbath (Sunday) in honor of Charlie Kirk’s memory, Christian nationalists are advancing an agenda that will ultimately undermine the very religious liberty they claim to defend. Whenever Sabbath observance is tied to the survival of a nation, it inevitably moves from voluntary devotion to political mandate. The next step is to apply pressure to enforce it by law.
For students of Bible prophecy, these developments come as no surprise. Revelation 13 and 14 foretell a time when faith and politics will unite, setting the stage for the final crisis. The call to honor Charlie Kirk by keeping the Sabbath (Sunday) is not merely about remembering a fallen activist. It is about mobilizing diverse religious groups and laying the groundwork for the union of church and state. This movement seeks to cloak its political aims in religious ideals, reinforced now by Kirk’s tragic death.
“We cannot labor to please men who will use their influence to repress religious liberty and to set in operation oppressive measures to lead or compel their fellow men to keep Sunday as the Sabbath. The first day of the week is not a day to be reverenced. It is a spurious sabbath, and the members of the Lord’s family cannot participate with the men who exalt this day and violate the law of God by trampling upon His Sabbath. The people of God are not to vote to place such men in office, for when they do this they are partakers with them of the sins which they commit while in office” (Last Day Events, p. 127).

Charlie practiced the seventh-day Sabbath, although he attended church on Sundays.
What you are known for in your life is an important legacy that will impact society for better or worse long after you are gone.
Just like St. Patrick, a Sabbatarian of the 4th and 5th centuries, the Vatican appears to be making an effort to co-op Charlie Kirk’s legacy. Patrick was a great Sabbatarian servant of God for the British Isles. Today, what do we know about St. Patrick? Green beer in March!!!
The day after Charlie’s assassination, on the FOX Laura Ingraham Show, a guess speaker said that “Charlie was often visiting Catholic Churches.”
The day Charlie’s body was returned to Arizona, Mrs. Kirk was viewed in a car, window down, and waving to the people with an cross in her hand. FOX report that the cross was a rosary! Later they retracted that statement.
Charlie’s new book will be released this December. If there is a section on the 7th day Sabbath, would the Vatican try to stop release of that book?
Amen.
“The true Christian does not allow any earthly consideration to come in between his soul and God. The commandment of God wields an authoritative influence over his affections and actions. If everyone seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness would be always ready to work the works of Christ, how much easier would become the path to heaven. The blessings of God would flow into the soul, and the praises of the Lord would be on your lips continually. You would then serve God from principle. Your feelings might not always be of a joyous nature; clouds would at times shadow the horizon of your experience; but the Christian’s hope does not rest upon the sandy foundation of feeling. Those who act from principle will behold the glory of God beyond the shadows and rest upon the sure word of promise. They will not be deterred from honoring God, however dark the way may seem. Adversity and trial will only give them an opportunity to show the sincerity of their faith and love.” 2MCP 495.3
There are numberous videos online of Charlie Kirk discussing keeping Sabbath, he and his wife kept Saturday the 7th day. This video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RXIZMzwl1c) documents how his decision to keep Shabbat was influenced by Dennis Prager, a well known Jewish scholar and author of the five volume The Rational Bible commentary on the Torah, considered one of the most important modern Bible commentaries. Please search out Kirk’s actual words, rather than relying on hearsay or perceptions of what other people think he meant or stood for.
The author of The Sun article is a practicing Jew and a sabbath keeper. It concerns me that Andy is accusing him of pushing Sunday, something that is not compatible with his beliefs or practice.
If I were the author of The Sun article and read this article acusing me a pushing Sunday, something apposed to my belief and practice, I would be offended and consider the person making the accusation a liar.
Be very sure that the seventh day you are keeping and doing is not, DEFINITELY NOT, on a seventh day based on a man-made calendar International Date Line time measurement system.
So,
however, rest on a seventh day determined by count Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, Day 7 based on calculate count onwards from the “fourth day (Day 4). has the two great lights bodies each visible circle-shaped shining brightly ruling brilliantly. Such lights bodies are for day, night, signs, seasons, days, years. Genesis chapters 1 and 2” anchor date count onwards to Day 5 to Day 6 to Day 7. Such Day 7 is the “seventh day (Day 7). the CREATOR Rests. Genesis chapters 1 and 2” as Sabbath has Scriptural support.
Blessings.
Genesis chapters 1 and 2.
Praises to the CREATOR.
Please kindly remember to use the tool the CREATOR has lovingly provided when determining identifying a “seventh day” to be the “seventh day (Day 7). the CREATOR Rests. Genesis chapters 1 and 2′.
The “seventh day (Day 7). Genesis chapters 1 and 2” is neither Sunday nor Saturday nor a day based on a man-devised calendar time measurement system having man-devised idolatry names which could be a mark of the beast which mocks/opposes/distracts/deceives/mystifies/defies/misinforms/misleads worshipping the CREATOR.
Such tool man-made man-devised calendar time measurement system includes the various Jews rabbi calendar time measurement systems, the multi-various pagan calendar time measurement systems which morph into the Roman Empire Emperor Julian calendar time measurement system which morphs into the Roman Catholic Church Pope Gregory Gregorian calendar time measurement system which morphs into the United Nations New York City (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time system, the Geneva ISO International Date Line calendar time measurement system, the (JDN) Julian Day Number system, the (TAI) International Atomic Time system, the (UT) Universal Time system, the (UT1), the (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time system, etc.
How could a man-devised calendar time measurement system having man-devised idolatry names be a tool in determining a “seventh day” to be the “seventh day (Day 7). Genesis chapters 1 and 2” to be the “seventh day. Sabbath. Exodus chapter 20 verse 8 through verse 11”?
So, the question remains for us humans living even this post-COVID!9 era continues:
+Whose calendar time measurement system determines that a “seventh day” is the “seventh day (Day 7). Genesis chapters 1 and 2. Exodus chapter 20 verse 8 through verse 11”?
+Which “seventh day” is the “seventh day (Day 7). Genesis chapters 1 and 2.” to be the “seventh day (Day 7). Sabbath. Exodus chapter 20 verse 8 through verse 11”?
+Is the “fourth day (Day 4). Genesis chapters 1 and 2” the anchor date the CREATOR had lovingly made/positioned/ordained for us every both living woman and living man to visibly count onwards to the “seventh day (Day 7). The CREATOR Rests. Genesis chapters 1 and 2′?
The anchor date.
The Day 4 anchor date.
The ‘fourth day (Day 4). has the two great lights bodies each visible circle-shaped shining brightly ruling brilliantly. Genesis chapters 1 and 2”.
The characteristic of the “fourth day (Day 4). Genesis chapters 1 and 2” has:
+daytime from sunrise to sunset, and
+evening, and
+nighttime from moonrise to moonset, and
+morning.
all on the fourth day.
So, from such Day 4 anchor date count onwards visibly to Day 5 to Day 6 to Day 7. The Day 7 the “seventh day (Day 7). the CREATOR Rests. Genesis chapters 1 and 2”.
Please kindly remember and do so accordingly the CREATOR has lovingly instructed.
Blessings.
