News and commentary from a Biblical world view on current events, top stories, social trends and political and religious events.
Dear brothers and sisters!
Charlie Kirk’s violent death is terrible; no one deserves such a thing, and only God alone knows his heart!
In our time today our LORD Jesus Christ calls us to examine everything and be vigilant.
And anyone who compares Charlie Kirk’s statements with the Word of God will see that he spread a belief that included both Biblical truths and false teachings.
This is a fact, please look them up and you will find him speaking the following words.
Examples:
– He wanted us to venerate the Virgin Mary more (contradicts 1st and 2nd Commandment)
– He advocated for a union of church and state/government (Jesus was not involved in any kind of politics and tells us to stay out of it)
– He was part of the board of “Project 2025” and sought an autocracy under US President Trump (this union he was part of will enforce the Sunday laws)
– He advocated for guns (and thus even justified several murders by firearms each year)
– He regularly attended Sunday services at a Pentecostal church where speaking in tongues is practiced (Jesus says one cannot serve two masters)
– His wife (a practicing Catholic) claims that her husband is already in heaven with Jesus Christ (the Bible contradicts this)
– the Sabbath: one time he called it the Jewish Sabbath (there is no such thing but just one Biblical Sabbath for everyone)… another time he says he doesn’t claim one has to keep it, he just decided for himself (God makes it a command)… next he says the Sabbath can be any day (God says it is the 7th day).
– On the death penalty (Thoughtcrime Ep. 33): “Death penalty should be public, it should be quick, it should be televised… And, you know what, I want to watch that execution, that’ll make my day better.” (God says: “Thou shalt not kill” 6th Commandment)
Dear brothers and sisters, with all respect: do you recognize Jesus Christ and the influence of the Holy Spirit in the examples above?
God does not contradict Himself.
God says: “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (KJV Isaiah 8:20)
May our Lord Jesus Christ grant us all keen discernment so that we are not deceived!

My brother, you are absolutely telling the truth. The Word of God tells us to:
“14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. ”
Ephesians 5:14-16 KJV
Everywhere you turn some so-called sda’s claiming he kept the 7th Day Sabbath; all I asked is, where is the evidence that he kept the 7th-day Sabbath?
God never told us we shall know them by their words or claims, but by their fruits/actions/deeds/works.
The enemy’s strong delusions are increasing and many are falling for it. Mainly because it involves an horrific emotional experience. Death or murder is terrible. It’s so surprising to me that we as sda have so mich counsels on these things, but no one bring up theese important principles. Nevertheless, God warns us about feelings, emotions, and sentimentalism. Feelings and emotions are natural, however we can’t let them influence our decisions. God’s principles in His Word comes first:
“An impulse, an emotional exercise, is not faith or sanctification. Sanctification is the doing of all the commandments of God. Some of you have failed to do this, because you have taken your eyes away from Jesus, and have looked to yourselves.” ST March 24, 1890, par. 3
“Do not let your feelings control you, but let the principles of pure religion shine forth in words and acts and deeds.” 3LtMs, Lt 41, 1876, par. 5
“If you would know the mystery of godliness, you must follow the plain word of truth–feeling or no feeling, emotion or no emotion.” [To Be Like Jesus, p. 129.2]
“6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. ”
Ephesians 5:6-11, 13 KJV
We are warned by God not to get involved with politics, especially those of us who are giving the 3rd Angel’s Message to the world. We will taint our ministry and our influence. When we go after those who may make comments for or against, telling them how they should feel or not feel about a situation, the enemy has deceived us;
we become like those who are seeking to restrict liberty of conscience. This why we should not get involved.
“14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. ”
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV
We have to be careful who we support according to Scripturess. We could be partakers of other men’s sins:
“22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.
24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid. ”
1 Timothy 5:22, 24-25 KJV
Think.for.yourself, God bless you for the comments and information that you have posted here. While what happened to Charlie Kirk is tragic and should not be celebrated, {for every soul is precious in God’s sight} what is saddening to me is that many people, particularly our fellow SDAs are being deceived by this whole incident.
Many within our ranks are coming out and saying that Charlie Kirk was a Seventh-day Adventist and that he kept the Sabbath. The question is where is the evidence?
Would a true SDA venerate Mary and tell others to do so? Would a true SDA called the Sabbath the Jewish Sabbath (by the way the former pope, Pope Francis also called the seventh day Sabbath the Jewish Sabbath)? Would a true SDA be a Christian Nationalist, advocating for the union of church and state, which a true SDA vehemently opposes. It seems to me that the evidence is to the contrary.
The Bible clearly tells us to “Prove all things” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Yet many have REACTED to this incident with emotions, feelings, and sentiment. Instead of taking a step back, and taking the time to carefully prove all things, they allowed feelings and emotions to take the ascendancy over truth and righteousness. As a result, good judgment and proper discernment becomes beclouded. Look at these counsels from the Spirit of Prophecy:
“If you would know the mystery of godliness, you must follow the plain word of truth—feeling or no feeling, emotion or no emotion. Obedience must be rendered from a sense of principle, and the right must be pursued under all circumstances. This is the character that is elected of God unto salvation. BLJ 129.2
“Do not let your feelings control you, but let the principles of pure religion shine forth in words and acts and deeds.” 3LtMs, Lt 41, 1876, paragraph 5
‘Always act from principle, never from impulse.” The Ministry of Healing, p. 491.2
“An impulse, an emotional exercise, is not faith or sanctification. Sanctification is the doing of all the commandments of God. Some of you have failed to do this, because you have taken your eyes away from Jesus, and have looked to yourselves.” The Signs of the Times, March 24, 1890, paragraph. 3
Folks, this whole Charlie Kirk incident is one big deception, masterfully orchestrated and strategically planned. It was geared to provoke a reaction. Believe it or not, this is all part of the Hegelian dialectic. Satan and his agents wants us to react, AND TAKE SIDES. The Bible says “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:22). We must remember that many of the angels that got kicked out of heaven with satan were sympathizing with him: “Satan is the originator of evil. He swerved from his allegiance to God. Those who persisted in sympathizing with him in his disaffection were, with him, shut out of heaven. 17LtMs, Ms 55, 1902, par. 9 We must realize that if we show ANY sympathy with the work Charlie Kirk was doing, we are showing disloyalty to God. POLITRICKS and religion CANNOT MIX, just as light and darkness, truth and error, Christ and Belial CANNOT MIX. We have clear counsel from the Spirit of Prophecy regarding this:
“The Lord desires all who bear the message for these last days to understand that there is a great difference between professors of religion who are not doers of the Word, and the children of God, who are sanctified through the truth, who have that faith that works by love and purifies the soul. The Lord speaks of those who claim to believe the truth for this time, yet see nothing inconsistent in their taking part in politics, mingling with the contending elements of these last days, as the circumcised who mingle with the uncircumcised, and He declares that He will destroy both classes together without distinction. They are doing a work that God has not set them to do. They dishonor God by their party spirit and contention, and He will condemn both alike.
The question may be asked, Are we to have no union whatever with the world? The Word of the Lord is to be our guide. Any connection with infidels and unbelievers which would identify us with them is forbidden by the Word. We are to come out from them and be separate. In no case are we to link ourselves with them in their plans or work. But we are not to live reclusive lives. We are to do worldlings all the good we possibly can. Christ has given us an example of this. When invited to eat with publicans and sinners, He did not refuse, for in no other way than by mingling with them could He reach this class. But on every occasion He gave them talents of words and influence. He opened up themes of conversation which brought things of eternal interest to their minds.” 14LtMs, Lt 95, 1899, paragraphs 23-24
“On the temperance question, take your position without wavering. Be as firm as a rock. Be not partakers of other men’s sins…. GW 394.3 There is a large vineyard to be cultivated; but while Christians are to work among unbelievers, they are not to appear like worldlings. They are not to spend their time talking politics or acting politics; for by so doing they give the enemy opportunity to come in and cause variance and discord. Those in the ministry who desire to stand as politicians, should have their credentials taken from them; for this work God has not given to high or low among His people.
God calls upon all who minister in word and doctrine to give the trumpet a certain sound. All who have received Christ, ministers and lay members, are to arise and shine; for great peril is right upon us. Satan is stirring up the powers of earth. Everything in this world is in confusion. God calls upon His people to hold aloft the banner bearing the message of the third angel….
God’s children are to separate themselves from politics, from any alliance with unbelievers. They are not to link their interests with the interests of the world. “Give proof of your allegiance to Me,” He says, “by standing as My chosen heritage, as a people zealous of good works.” Do not take part in political strife. Separate from the world, and refrain from bringing into the church or school ideas that will lead to contention and disorder. Dissension is the moral poison taken into the system by human beings who are selfish. God wants His servants to have clear perceptions, true and noble dignity, that their influence may demonstrate the power of truth.
The Christian life is not to be a haphazard, emotional life. True Christian influence, exerted for the accomplishment of the work God has appointed, is a precious agency, and it must not be united with politics, or bound up in a confederacy with unbelievers. God is to be the center of attraction. Every mind that is worked by the Holy Spirit will be satisfied with Him.—Letter 95, 1899. GW 394.3-395.4
“The Lord Jesus is disappointed in His people. He is the Captain: they are to file under His banner. They have no time, wisdom, or strength to spend in taking sides with political parties. Men are being stirred with an intense activity from beneath, and the sons and daughters of God are not to give their influence to this political strife. But what kind of a spirit takes hold upon our people when those who believe we are now under the third angel’s message, the last message of mercy to the world, brothers in the same faith, appear wearing the badges of opposing political parties, proclaiming opposite sentiments and declaring their divided opinions.
Watchmen upon the walls of Zion, the people are asking you, What of the night? Can you tell them with assurance and authority, The morning cometh, and also the night? God is our Father, Christ is our Saviour. See 2 Peter 1:16-21.
There is danger, decided danger, for all who shall link themselves up with the political parties of the world. There is fraud on both sides. God has not laid upon any of our people the burden of linking up with either party. We are under Christ’s banner, and every one who names the name of Christ is to depart from all iniquity. Sorrow and trial will come. The faith of every one is being tested. But our Lord is truth; He is love, and His scepter stretcheth over the universe. Surprises await every one. We know not what political crisis will come next. But in regard to the political agitators, the word of the Lord to us is, “Go not ye after them.” [Luke 21:8.] True wisdom will not lead us to follow the example of the foolish rich men of the parable. True wisdom is revealed in seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. 11LtMs, Ms 43, 1896, paragraphs 6-8
The Bible says “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (Matthew 7:20} Look at the fruit this incident has produced. Yes, people are returning to church, but on what day? SUNDAY. Interestingly enough, the same thing happened after 9/11. Droves of people returned to church (on Sunday of course). Moreover, we must always understand this truth: God’s true people will NEVER be honored by this world: “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” (John 15:20} If Charlie Kirk were a real SDA, he would not have the type of platform and audience that he did. He would not be honored and WORSHIPPED as he is in his death now.
My brothers and sisters, let us stick to the work that God has called us to do: “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” 7 “Be not ye therefore partakers with them.” 8 “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:” 9 “(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)” 10 “Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.” 11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” (Ephesians 5:5-11). We are to proclaim the present truth, the third angel’s message, which is the rise and progress of the mark of the beast, which by the way, this whole incident is directly connected to, and not get caught up and deceived by party politics, side issues, and emotions and feelings. Instead, let us “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2 Timothy 4:2)
