The same goes for other places of work—the less we as employers or employees seek to do work on our day of rest, reply to work emails, or ask our fellow comrades to do so, the more they are able to also rest.” [1]

Adventists have long connected this with the prophecy of Revelation 13, which reveals that economic pressure will one day be used to enforce worship—‘that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark’ (Rev. 13:17). What is now being promoted in the media through the power of persuasion will ultimately move toward regulation and enforcement under the theocratic state that Christian nationalists are seeking to establish in this nation.
