At AmFest 2025, Vice President JD Vance defined Christianity not just as part of America’s cultural heritage, but as the nation’s defining creed. Speaking before more than 30,000 young conservatives at the event organized by Turning Point USA, Vance declared that “Christianity is the creed of the United States”—a claim rarely stated so directly by a high member of government. Vance argued that what has sustained the nation throughout its history is its Christian foundation. He maintained that America has been rooted in Christianity and, by God’s grace, will continue to be so.
Our Founding Fathers established a Constitution, not a creed. A creed is a statement of beliefs—a formal confession that defines the doctrines one must accept in order to belong to a religious body. Classic examples are the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed, which set out specific theological claims and draw clear lines between belief and unbelief. In contrast, the U.S. Constitution is not a creed at all; it is a system of laws. It establishes the government, limits the exercise of power, and protects individual rights without requiring belief in any religious creed or doctrine. Laws regulate conduct; creeds regulate belief—and the Founders intentionally kept those two realms separate.
That is why JD Vance’s statement that “Christianity is America’s creed” is so politically charged. Without clearly defining what he means, the phrase recreates our existence as a nation. If Christianity is treated as a national creed for our nation, then it becomes easy to argue that it is legitimate for the state to turn religious beliefs into civil law. Under that logic, practices presented as “Christian”—such as mandated Sunday rest—can be imposed through legislation.
Once a religious statement of belief defines national identity, laws can easily be passed to protect that belief. In 321 A.D., Constantine enacted the first national Sunday law to protect and promote his own vision of Christianity through state power. The precedent illustrates how quickly a creed, interpreted as the foundation of government, becomes a tool of coercion and persecution.
There is a growing effort to return Christianity to the center of American public life, and while this language may resonate with many believers, it carries serious risks. Calls to restore America as a “Christian nation,” or to define Christianity as the nation’s guiding creed, erode the constitutional separation between church and state. Once that safeguard is removed, the door is opened for the state to actively promote, protect, and ultimately enforce a particular—often distorted—version of Christianity.
History does not lie. It shows where this kind of Christian rhetoric can lead. Once Christian doctrine is treated as something the government must protect, it becomes easier to argue that these practices should be written into law for the so-called “common good.” Back at the end of the 19th century, during similar efforts to restore our “Christian nation,”Seventh-day Adventists were, at times, treated like common criminals due to the enforcement of Sunday laws. Seventh-day Sabbath keepers were fined, jailed, and persecuted as citizens were pressured—or required—to conform to laws presented as Christian in character.
That is why this issue matters. The consequences are not theoretical. They involve real impacts on religious liberty and strike at the constitutional principle that faith must remain a matter of personal conviction, not state-mandated compulsion.

We are well aware that United States has the most progressive and one of democratic constitutions in the world. The constitution itself has the freedom of worship and religious liberty? With all these men and women in the government affiliated to the Roman Catholic faith as well as Jesuits, the freedom of religious liberty is at danger. The Vatican agenda for the United States is to control America and control all the government institutions. Ranging from the Executive, Judiciary, Legistlative (which composes of Senate and The House of Representatives). In fact the senate has almost members of the Roman Catholic, together with the Supreme court Judges. Most of these prominent men and women are educated in higher institutions of education especially the Jesuit controlled universities such as Georgetown, Fordham, Loyola Marymount, Marquitte, Creiton, santa clara.
These Jesuit universities prepare the men and women for the role of putting the United States under the feet of the Vicar of Christ . These leaders are going to ignore the U.S constitution and embrace the Vatican agenda ,which is incompatible to the constitutiuon which was written by the pilgrim Fathers who founded America. They might swear allegiance and loyalty to U.S constitution, despite being the American citizens, but in secret they are the agents of the pope. We have many examples like that of President Andrew Jackson and his Vice President . Andrew Jackson was the President of the U.S and he was opposing the Pope. But his Vice President Nicholas Biddle was a secret Jesuit and he was advancing the Rome’s agenda. Andrew Jackson was supportive of the idea of setting a Central Bank of the United States, which was enshrined in the constitution, but Nicholas Biddle opposed the move and instead he supported America to have a ROTHSCHILD Jesuit controlled bank, which is operational up to date. Finally Andrew Jackson was poisoned and died in 1841. Another example was that of Abraham Lincoln ,he was a lawyer by proffession and he opposed the civil war which was instigated by the Jesuits, he represented Father Charles Chiniquy in the court case against the Catholic church and won.
Lincoln was finally killed by the assasins bullet in 1865, for trying to oppose the civil war which claimed hundreds of American people , because the Jesuits wanted to divide America between the Northern states and Southern states. The aim of the Jesuits is to destroy the United States and its constitution. Another example was John F. Kennedy , he was one of the few U.S presidents to be affiliated to the Roman Catholic faith, and during his election in 1960, he made this famous declaration, he will travel from Washington D.C. and he will not obey the Pope. He was very loyal to the U.S .constitution and he did not obey the dictates of the Pope despite himself being a Roman catholic. He paid dearly for his life by rejecting Jesuit demands for opposing the Vietnam war, and also wanted to establish the Central Bank of the United States which is enshrined in the constitution as opposed to the Rothschild Jesuit controlled Bank.
