Artificial intelligence (AI) now possesses the capability to simulate various aspects of human behavior, including imitating individuals—both living and deceased. With rapid technological advancements, AI can convincingly mimic human speech, writing style, and even the visual appearance of real people. These hyper-realistic deepfake technologies are now being used to create simulated interviews on national media platforms, where AI-generated versions of the deceased are made to speak as if they were alive. While these simulations are presented as tributes or educational tools, they are opening the door to spiritualism by making people vulnerable to communications from devils that can certainly use AI to communicate with people.
On August 5, 2025, Variety Magazine published the following:
• “Jim Acosta, the former CNN chief White House correspondent who now hosts an independent show on YouTube, has published an interview with an AI-generated avatar of Joaquin Oliver, who died at age 17 in the Parkland school shooting in 2018.” [1]
• “Acosta asked AI Oliver about his solution for gun violence, to which the avatar responded: ‘I believe in a mix of stronger gun control laws, mental health support and community engagement. We need to create safe spaces for conversations and connections, making sure everyone feels seen and heard. It’s about building a culture of kindness and understanding.” [1]
• “The avatar added, ‘Though my life was cut short, I want to keep inspiring others to connect and advocate for change.” [1]
• “Acosta then asked AI Oliver about his personal life, such as his favorite sport and favorite basketball team. The two discussed the movie ‘Remember the Titans’ and their favorite ‘Star Wars’ moments.” [1]
• “After a five-minute chat with the AI, Acosta then connected with Oliver’s father, Manuel Oliver. ‘I’m kind of speechless as to the technology there,’ Acosta said. ‘It was so insightful. I really felt like I was speaking with Joaquin. It’s just a beautiful thing.” [1]
Techniques like deep learning are continually pushing the boundaries of reality in AI-driven simulations. The visuals and sounds of these AI models can be so persuasive that viewers may momentarily believe they are witnessing a genuine human interaction with a dead person. As these technologies evolve, the potential for deception becomes a pressing issue. When people see lifelike representations of deceased figures speaking new words or participating in current discussions, it creates confusion where individuals emotionally engage with an illusion, forming attachments to simulations that are devoid of true human presence.
Seventh-day Adventists, who firmly believe in the biblical teaching of the non-immortality of the soul—that the dead know nothing and await the resurrection—should have absolutely no involvement with AI-generated simulations of deceased individuals communicating with the living. These digital recreations, while presented as technological feats, are a direct assault on the truth about death and serve to bridge the divide between the dead and the living.
By engaging with such simulations, people are legitimizing the false idea that the dead can think, speak, or interact with the living, which directly contradicts Scripture. More dangerously, this artificial resurrection of the dead opens a spiritual gateway for demonic forces. Satan and his agents have always sought to impersonate the dead to deceive many, and now AI provides a powerful and seductive tool to facilitate that deception under the guise of technology. Participating in or endorsing these practices is not only a compromise of biblical truth but also invites spiritual delusion and manipulation in these last days.
“Here is a channel regarded as sacred, through which Satan works for the accomplishment of his purposes. The fallen angels who do his bidding appear as messengers from the spirit world. While professing to bring the living into communication with the dead, the prince of evil exercises his bewitching influence upon their minds” (Great Controversy, p. 551).

We saw this coming. This is a medium that encourages belief which opens the door of communication with fallen angels.
Just like some of these televangelist who claim to heal; all they need to deceive the masses is to have one individual faking an infirmity or illness and perform a fake healing. Once this takes place, the audience will start to believe that this so-called healer can heal, then they come up and fallen angels take over.
Or, this simply could be fallen angels working through Ai. In anyway it’s dangerous for we are forbidden to have any communication with devils.
“20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. ”
1 Corinthians 10:20-23 KJV
“The magicians of heathen times have their counterpart in the spiritualistic mediums, the clairvoyants, and the fortune-tellers of today. The mystic voices that spoke at Endor and at Ephesus are still by their lying words misleading the children of men. Could the veil be lifted from before our eyes, we should see evil angels employing all their arts to deceive and to destroy. Wherever an influence is exerted to cause men to forget God, there Satan is exercising his bewitching power.” {AA 290}
Techno-Spiritualism is what I call it. I’ve got a whole section of a blog dedicated to following this rising phenomenon over the past few years.
**Also, did avatar “Oliver” really say “safe space” and call for gun control? So “Oliver” is being used to push both Spiritualism and Leftist Politics? Hmmm….?
**Also isn’t avatars from Hinduism? Didn’t the false god Vishnu have 10 avatars and Shiva 19 avatar names?
**Like the movie Avatar introducing to western audiences Hindu themes and mother earth worship—and the Lion King introducing Buddhist themes one can see how the entertainment industry has greased the skids of the West with those of DISEASED IMAGINATIONS.
Not a beautiful thing an abomination,
Another abomination was this pastor:

saying purity is a fetish and adulterous life styles are permitted 😳
Hellish Torch lit by Satan?
Left out of the article is the fact that it was the deceased teenager’s parents who created this AI version of their son. This is an extremely unhealthy way to grieve a loss. The parents are still stuck in the denial phase 7 years later. And all Jim Acosta really did was interview an advanced computer with no real thoughts of its own.
“…an advanced computer…” without a doubt. But this advanced computer is being used as a tool by Satan. We cannot venture onto this evil ground. There is no safety when we venture to know what cannot be known.
