Ecumenism is indeed fulfilling prophecy—but not the prophecy God calls His people to advance or embrace. The world is being drawn into a single religious and political body, as revealed by Scripture: “And all the world wondered after the beast” (Revelation 13:3). This is not a revival of godliness; it is universal apostasy—a global movement that, under the appearance of unity, peace, and love, is leading people away from Bible truth and into disobedience to God’s law.
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, Pope Leo XIV marked the 59th Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with members of an ecumenical delegation. In his address, the pope urged Christians to press forward in the ecumenical mission toward full, visible unity. The Holy See Press Office published the following regarding Pope Leo’s remarks:
• “My dear friends, every year the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity invites us to renew our commitment to this great mission, bearing in mind that the divisions among us—while they do not prevent the light of Christ from shining—nonetheless make the face which must reflect it to the world less radiant.” [1]
• “We are one! We already are! Let us recognize it, experience it, and make it visible!” [1]
• “My dear predecessor, Pope Francis, remarked that the synodal journey of the Catholic Church is and must be ecumenical.” [1]
• “I believe this is a path for growing together in mutual knowledge of our respective synodal structures and traditions.” [1]
• “As we look toward the 2,000th anniversary of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus in 2033, let us commit ourselves to further developing ecumenical synodal practices and to sharing with one another who we are, what we do, and what we teach.” [1]
• “We pray that the seeds of the Gospel may continue to bear fruit on this continent in unity, justice, and holiness, for the benefit of peace among the peoples and nations of the whole world.” [1]
Prophecy identifies the unification of the churches into a single religious system, followed by their alliance with civil power, as the defining characteristic of the final crisis. Revelation 13 portrays the restoration of a united religious authority that recovers global influence after the healing of the deadly wound. Pope Leo’s recent calls for Christian unity fit squarely within this prophetic framework, pointing to the restoration of Rome’s combined spiritual and temporal authority.
Central to this message is the repeated call to make unity visible. Statements such as “We already are one” implicitly describe how the Protestant Reformation is over and that separation from Rome is no longer necessary. The Pope is basically inviting all the churches to come back home to Rome. His statements reveal a deliberate movement toward religious consolidation on a global scale under papal leadership.
“Under one head—the papal power—the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. This union is cemented by the great apostate. While he seeks to unite his agents in warring against the truth, he will work to divide and scatter its advocates” (Testimonies, Vol. 7, p. 182).

The coming papal New World Order is now beggining to take shape,all the religious leaders and political leaders are now converging together and now they are reffering to Pope as the moral global leader. The United Nations House of the World government was formed after the WW II. The aim of the U.N is to gradually take the leadership of the world and control it under one head. Pope is the head of the United Nations and all it’s agencies. That’s why after WWII, the Jesuits formed the World Council of Churches to be controlled under one man ,none other but the Pope of Rome. That’s the real aim of ecumenism- it embraces universality, a doctrine which says; all the human beings will be saved? Which is very wrong? Because this doctrine is contrary to the scriptures -(Read Matthew Chapter 7:14 and Luke 12:32).
The Pope of Rome is gathering all the world spiritual leaders from Eastern religions, Potestants , Jews, Traditional leaders and snake charmmers. The purpose of this one world religion is to come together as one entity and forge a common alliance which will oppose the God of Heaven. This end time coalition is the alliance of three unclean spirits which go forth to the world to deceive the people. The Pope of Rome only embraces the traditions, and not the Holy scriptures. The World Council of Churches which comprises of all apostate christianity and pagan eastern religions have all accepted the Pope as the spiritual leader and their model guidance.
The coming Spiritual armmaggedon is about the true worship? The true worship is symbolized by Abel , while false worship is symbolized by Cain? The world is very soon going to be divided into two groups? The small group will only consists of those faithful few christians who keep the ten commandments and the faith of Jesus Christ, and the much larger group will consist of Apostate christianity led by Pope of Rome and false religious leaders who will rebel against God of heaven and declare war against the saints of the Most High? The whole world will be forced to accept the sunworship -sunday against the Sabbath of the the fourth commandment decalogue. The false system of worship is centered on the trinitarian babylonian worship which led to the apostacy in the christianity? Every soul in the world is supposed to take a stance in these earth’s final hours for the sake of christ and for the eternity?
