On the final day of the revival meetings at Satellite Newlife SDA Church in Nairobi, Kenya, three precious souls—young women—responded to the invitation to follow Jesus and publicly commit their lives to Him through baptism. Although the primary goal of these meetings was not the evangelization of those who did not share the faith—but rather to bring revival and renewal to our church members—visitors still attended and souls responded to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Jack Ogeda and his leadership team will now work with these young women, preparing them for a future baptismal date.
In addition to these baptismal candidates, hundreds more rededicated their lives to Jesus, renewing their commitment to know Him more fully and to share His gospel with others. This is what true revival is all about—seeing people come into a deeper love for Christ, a stronger commitment to His truth, and a renewed emphasis to fulfill His mission. Heaven is rejoicing over the decisions that were made. A new desire for service has been awakened, and by God’s grace, the fruit of these meetings at Satellite Newlife SDA Church will continue to be seen in the weeks and months ahead.
Another amazing highlight was seeing visitors who had traveled great distances—some journeying as long as eight hours—to attend the meetings. Their sacrifice stands as a powerful testimony that people across Kenya are hungry for present truth. Even from remote corners of the nation, faithful believers are embracing God’s end-time message with open hearts. It was a special joy to personally meet dedicated pastors and theology students from our universities who are passionate lovers of present truth and follow us online.
It is deeply humbling to see how God can use simple means to strengthen His people in the glorious Adventist mission and message while also bringing new souls into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God alone receives all the glory. Please continue praying for the work in Kenya. Pray for a deeper revival and reformation throughout Africa. Pray that our brothers and sisters across the world field will be inspired and encouraged by what God has done—and by what He will continue to do through His faithful people in Nairobi and beyond.

These are the three precious souls who publicly took a stand for Christ during the meetings and accepted the call to seek baptism.
