On September 9, 2026, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina, published an article titled “Enter into God’s Rest on Sundays.” It presents Sunday as the weekly day of rest, refers to the seventh-day Sabbath established by God in Genesis and Exodus, cites the Catechism, and applies the blessings of God’s Sabbath day to Sunday.
Although the Bible does not state that God blessed the first day or that He removed the holiness of the seventh day, the Catholic diocese published the following:
• “The Catechism describes Sunday as a ‘day of joy and rest from work.’ (CCC 1193) Its biblical roots stem from creation’s seventh day, where God worked for six days and rested on the seventh. (Gen 2:2) So important is rest that God commanded it when giving the Law on Mount Sinai: ‘Six days you may labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest.” (Ex 34:21).” [1]
• “Centered upon worship, Sunday culminates in the Eucharist, the sacrament of charity, whereby we are fused to Christ, and through him, to our brothers and sisters, the members of his Body.” [1]
• “This is why the Church prioritizes Sunday leisure, and dedicates it as a day of prayer and one spent in community.” [1]
When the language of creation, Sabbath rest, holiness, and divine blessing is taken from the seventh day and reassigned to the first day, we are confronting the very issue that will stand at the center of the final crisis over worship. Human tradition is being placed where God established His truth, bringing into sharp focus Christ’s warning:
“But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” — Matthew 15:9
Many Christians regard Sunday as a day of worship and rest, but biblically they cannot identify Sunday as the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment, because God Himself never did so. The real issue is one of authority: Can human religious authority place Sunday where God placed the seventh day?
Revelation 14:12 describes God’s end-time people as those who “keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” That is why the Sabbath question cannot simply be dismissed as insignificant. It reaches to the very heart of the controversy over worship, obedience, and authority.
The biblical challenge remains simple and unavoidable: Show from Scripture where God changed His Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day. If such a text cannot be produced, then the authority for that change must come from somewhere other than the Bible. And that is precisely why the Sabbath issue carries such profound prophetic significance.
“For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men … And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” Mark 7:8-9.

Sunday observance or its sanctity have no roots in the Bible. Roots are connected to a plant or tree; there is no Biblical connection.
The only thing sunday observance have with God’s 7th Day Sabbath is that it’s a Counterfeit!
The 7th Day Sabbath was etched into time, the last day of the week. Genesis 2:1-3. The only way to change it is to change time, and no one but God can do that and He never will; the 7th Day Sabbath will remain forever. Isaiah 66:22-24
Because of this, then there needs be a counterfeit, with claims that it was changed to Sunday – the 1st day of the week. There is no such Scripture that teach this.
Christ Jesus have nothing to do with Sunday worship or it’s observance:
Christ Jesus said, the “Son of man”, referring to himself:
“For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. ”
Matthew 12:8 KJV
The most important reason why Christ Jesus is not connected in any way with Sunday worship.
The 7th Day Sabbath is a Sign between Christ Jesus and His people:
“13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. ”

“12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God. ”

The 7th Day Sabbath is God’s Sign, Signature, Seal that He placed on the 7th Day, at the end of His Creation showing us that all His creation belong to Him: its His Signature on His Artwork of Creation. It is a Sign of His Authority as Lord and God of heaven amd earth.
Again, I reiterate, Pope Francis, the eighth king of Revelation 17 just died Going to perditionand they’re pushing for a Sunday law like never before, and you’re Still denying that Pope Francis was the eighth king.
