In a moment of profound prophetic significance, U.S. President Donald Trump—representing the second beast of Revelation 13—announced that he had informed Russia, Ukraine, the European Union, France, Italy, Germany, and Finland that Pope Leo XIV, the representative of the first beast, would now be overseeing peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. This unprecedented move marks a dramatic fulfillment of the prophetic narrative, in which the second beast compels the world to honor the authority of the first.
For the President of the United States to hand over such a critical global responsibility to the Pope—and to boldly declare to world leaders that this is how things will be—this act signifies a growing union between church and state and a consolidation of spiritual and political power that mirrors the prophetic warning of Revelation 13. It is a striking step toward the enforcement of a global order led by the moral and diplomatic influence of the papacy, setting the stage for the final developments foretold in Scripture.
If the current Pope can mediate peace and convince both Russia and Ukraine to stop the conflict, there is nothing that Rome will not be able to accomplish. If Leo XIV can use his authority to persuade world leaders to sit at the table for peace talks, he can also persuade President Trump of the need to pass a national Sunday law. If Rome’s peace initiative succeeds, the Pope will be hailed as the savior of the world, and he will have the power and influence to pass any global initiative and control everyone.

Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more importantly, an END to the War. The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only be, because they know details of a negotiation that nobody else would be aware of. The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn’t, I would say so now, rather than later. Russia wants to do largescale TRADE with the United States when this catastrophic “bloodbath” is over, and I agree. There is a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is UNLIMITED. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on Trade, in the process of rebuilding its Country. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately. I have so informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, President Emmanuel Macron, of France, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, of Italy, Chancellor Friedrich Merz, of Germany, and President Alexander Stubb, of Finland, during a call with me, immediately after the call with President Putin. The Vatican, as represented by the Pope, has stated that it would be very interested in hosting the negotiations. Let the process begin!” [1]
Pope Leo XIV will go down in history as the greatest pope in modern history if he succeeds. Thanks to the USA and specifically President Trump, the Vatican is being placed in a position to take advantage of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and assert its influence and political clout on the world. Tragically, Rome will promote harmony and peace—but only on their terms. Inspiration teaches us that, despite appearing to be a friend, Rome is actually a dangerous foe. The United States, Russia, Ukraine, the nations of Europe, and all other religious and world leaders had better be careful and avoid any dealings with the man of sin:
“She (Rome) is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures, in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage-ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the Word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution” (Great Controversy, p. 581).
Today, the Vatican is deeply involved in a wide range of global initiatives. Rome has a seat at the table in virtually every major international effort—whether in politics, humanitarian aid, religion, culture, economics, climate change, world peace, education, or immigration. There is a reason why the Pope is looked at as the moral authority to persuade world leaders on a range of issues. There is a reason why the Vatican must directly engage policymakers and world leaders. Rome is steadily fulfilling its prophetic role by reclaiming the spiritual and temporal power it lost in 1798 when it received the deadly wound. Though that wound has not yet fully healed, with the aid of the United States and figures like Donald Trump, her restoration is accelerating—faster than many realize.

The current conflict Russia and Ukraine can be a major development shift if Pope Leo XIV , succeeds in reconciling the the foes Putin and Zelensky. Russia is an orthodox Country; while Volodymr Zelensky a Roman Catholic who attempts to kill the orthodox ethnic Russians in the Donbass , and then Putin comes to save them from neo -nazi control.
