• “Leo, who is known for choosing his words carefully, rarely makes direct appeals to national leaders but he has been stepping up criticism of the Iran war in recent weeks.” [1]
• “On Sunday, in unusually forceful remarks, the pope said that God rejects the prayers of leaders who start wars and have hands full of blood.” [1]
War creates instability, fear, and desperation—conditions that prepare the world to welcome a religious figure as the great peacemaker. The growing global recognition of Rome as a leading voice in shaping economic, political, and religious policy is a powerful sign that prophecy is being fulfilled, that we are living in the closing moments of earth’s history, and that the return of Jesus is near.
“And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Revelation 13:7.
“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:17.
“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:15.

When a religious leader like the pope weighs in on political and military affairs, we see this as part of a larger prophetic fulfillment where religious power begins to guide civil power, setting the stage for the future mark of the beast crisis when false worship is enforced upon the nations.

Given from the recent political upheaval in Venezuelan crisis, which led to the abduction of President Nicholas Maduro in the operation absolute resolve early this year on January 3,2026. Nicholas Maduro suffered his fate for failing to be subservient to the Pope of Rome. He made a political pledge with the Vatican on how to end the Political stalemate in Venezuela and he made a passionate appeal to Pope Francis to help him end the political crisis in his country, but Pope Francis told him unless he made the reconciliation efforts with the opposition he cannnot help him in any way. Maduro regime was heavily criticized and came under scrutiny for being dictatorial, and after the death of Pope Francis ,Maduro also asked his successor Pope Leo XIV to help him stabilize his country, but unfortunately, Pope Leo turned down his request and told him there is nothing he can do, because he failed to honour the previous obligations by his predecessor Pope Francis.
Now Maduro suffered his fate when Papacy asked the United States to overthrow Maduro together with his wife Cillia Florres and were both flown to U.S to be charged with drug trafficking charges in the New York court. Maduro’s problems can be traced back during his 13 years in power, when he defied crticism from Roman Catholic bishops appointed by Pope Francis. He oftently taunted them to shut up or become like Pope Francis or they should cease their criticism. At one point it’s reported that Maduro ignored the Apostolic Nuncio appointed by Vatican into his country . Cardinal Pedro Parolin who is Vatican Secretary of state was appointed as the mediator between Maduro and the opposition political figures. Maduro’s failure to implement the deal with the Opposition as proposed by the Vatican clearly made him to be a marked man.
It’s noteworthy to note that Venezuela is a Roman Catholic state and the Jesuit superior General comes from there, his name is Arturo Ssoza. The country has undergone a litany of political crisis ranging from instability, chaos, and economic sanctions. This involvement of Vatican in the political affairs in the countries of the world is Quite overwhelming. The lessons we learn from Maduro’s abduction and his removal from power , is that if you fail to subject to be under the authority of Vatican , you are a ripe candidate to be overthrown just like prophecy predicted in the book of Daniel 7:25 about the little stout horn overthrowing three kings namely : Heruli, Vandals , Ostrogoths. The three kingdoms failed to be subjected under the Papal power and immediately they gotten rid off.

The work of an altar boy is to get obedient to your superior master. You have to follow the Rome’s agenda if you want to survive in power. Any one who defies Rome’s authority , will one day face the fate of Maduro. We should remember that during the COVID 19 crisis, Trump always denied that it was a hoax and denied the existence of climate change which he called a hoax, which led him to lose 2020 U.S presidential election which were won by Joe Biden. Now that there is an American Pope in the name of Leo XIV, he has asked Trump to halt the Iran’s war because U.S pays the allegiance to the Pope.
