The answer could have been simple and direct. “Yes, we must take the necessary steps to bring about reconciliation. I will do what I can to make this happen.”
Also unity and reconciliation comes before Launching out into “missions.” Example: The upper room experience. The idea that when we focus on mission these issue will be sorted out is not quite right.
