Pope Leo XIV is rapidly advancing his prophetic role in uniting the churches under a single spiritual authority through his urgent calls for deeper fraternity among Christians. It is the fast-tracked fulfillment of Revelation’s warnings about a global religious alliance led by Rome. The ecumenical movement—championed by the Papacy—is not a harmless invitation to unity but rather the false unity spoken of in Revelation 13 and 17, where church and state become entwined in a system that will ultimately enforce man-made laws over God’s commandments.
Pope Leo XIV sent a message on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Anabaptist movement, in which he encouraged Catholics and Anabaptists to advance reconciliation through dialogue, unity, and love. The Pope emphasized the importance of maintaining a united Christian witness in his greeting to the Anabaptists and Mennonites—a denomination with the Anabaptist tradition.
On May 29, 2025, the Holy See Press Office published the Pope’s message to the Anabaptists:
• “As you gather to commemorate 500 years of the Anabaptist movement, I cordially greet all of you, dear friends, in the first words spoken by the risen Jesus: ‘Peace be with you!’ (John 20:19).” [1]
• “The motto chosen for your celebration, ‘The Courage to Love’, reminds us, above all, of the need for Catholics and Mennonites to make every effort to live out the commandment of love, the call to Christian unity, and the mandate to serve others. It likewise points to the need for honesty and kindness in reflecting on our common history, which includes painful wounds and narratives that affect Catholic-Mennonite relationships and perceptions up to the present day.” [1]
• “Our ongoing journey of healing, and of deepening fraternity, has a vital role to play, for the more united Christians are the more effective will be our witness to Christ the Prince of Peace in building up a civilization of loving encounter.” [1]
The term “anabaptists” literally means re-baptizer and this branch of Protestants encouraged the Reformation to embrace further reforms such as adult baptism, voluntary church membership, and the separation of church and state. These were faithful men and women who were seeking to continue in the work of restoring Bible truth. Tragically, they have embraced Rome’s call for universal fraternity—a unity that sacrifices truth on the altar of conformity. In doing so, they are preparing the world to worship “the dragon which gave power unto the beast … saying, Who is like unto the beast?” (Revelation 13:4). This is not the unity Christ prayed for, grounded in truth and obedience, but a counterfeit alliance that aligns perfectly with the prophetic warnings of Revelation.
The entire world is being swept into a deadly deception, drunk on the wine of Babylon as foretold in Revelation 17:2. This prophetic “wine” is nothing less than the intoxicating mixture of false doctrines, ecumenical compromise, and spiritual adultery that corrupts the mind and blinds the soul to the truth of God’s Word. What we are witnessing is not harmless cooperation among churches but a bold and calculated push toward global religious unity—one that tramples on the distinct truths of Scripture in the name of false peace.
This is the trajectory of end-time prophecy: the rapid healing of the deadly wound (Revelation 13:3) and the restoration of Papal supremacy, aided by Protestants who have forgotten the Reformation. The ecumenical movement is not a move of the Holy Spirit—it is a masterpiece of deception preparing the world to receive the mark of the beast. The urgency is real. The final crisis is nearing. God’s people must awaken, stand firm on the everlasting gospel, and refuse to drink from the cup of Babylon.

Ignatius Loyola , is the man credited to start the order of the Jesuits, in the year 1534, he was ordered to do so, by Pope paul III. He was chosen as the first superior General of the order and invested with the title of ”Father General” by the Jesuits. The Society of Jesus or the Jesuit order was established to counter the gains made by protestant Reformation which was started by former catholic monk, Martin Luther. Martin Luther was an ardent bible student and he discovered the errors which were taught by Rome such as selling indulgences, where the Roman Church teaches that you can buy salvation by giving money to the priest inorder to remmission of sins.
Luther’s message shocked the walls of the Vatican , and the message was an open rebuke to papal supremacy, ” that’s why the Roman Church decided to counter the protestant Reformation with Rome acquiring great success, many of the catholic doctrines are based on human philosophy and man made traditions instead of plain word of God,that’s the reason Martin Luther published 95 theses in the door of ” Wittenburg Chapel”.The order of the Jesuits countered the reformation by establishing prestigious universities in Europe and the whole world . Many Protestants did not realise that they had sold their children to the devil . Most of these schools, and universities, taught philosophy and human theories which were contrary to the word of God.
When the Jesuits take the oath, they are ordered to pay allegiance to” Holy Mary Mother of God” and the Vicar of Christ pope of Rome.They are taught to be a cadaver and go to all the parts of the world and make all ”PROTESTANTS AND HERETICS”who dare to oppose the authority of the Pope of Rome. They are ordered to become everything in the society and preach even to the protestant pulpits. In their secret oath, administered by the Jesuit superior General , they are told to become protestants and just become like them.Among the Huegenots, Anabaptists, Lutherans, Jews and even the Adventists. That’s why many protestant churches are today being infiltrated by the Jesuits and that’s at the end of the day, it’s the Roman Catholic Church which triumphed and won the battle against the ”Reformation”. Many protestant reformers in the last 500 years , believed that Pope of Rome was Antichrist spoken of about in the book of Daniel and Revelation and 2 Thessalonians by Apostle Paul.
Today as we speak, ”all the roads are heading to Rome” now the protestant preachers of today have now recognized the Roman Pontiff as ” Brother in Christ”.The Antichrist religious power which persecuted many christians in Europe for 1,260 during the dark ages is now regarded and respected more than ever before instead of being regarded as the adversary. Today in many S.D.A General Conference Churches, many Jesuits have occupied important positions in the church. In 2022, this website reported that S.D.A sabbath school Guide Lessons are published and written by the Jesuits the title of that quartely lesson was speaking about book of Hebrews and the principal contributor was FELIX. H .CORTEX.
That’s how the Jesuit order have suceeded in infiltrating the protestant churches more so, especially the S.D.A church . All the Adventist schools , colleges and universities have become vulnerable to their infiltration. Some have studied in Jesuit universities and worked in the General Conference churches. we have a fellow called Samuele Bacchiocchi who studied at pontifical Gregorian university in Rome and he has written many books ”, the most popular one is from ”Sabbath to Sunday. ”
The Vatican II Ecumenical council which was convened from 1962-65. The Jesuit order main objective was to bring all the protestant churches under the banner of Rome, and at the same time Trinity doctrine was made a prerequisite to all the churches inorder to become under the world council of churches. The S.D.A church became a member of Christian World Communion in 1957. By the year 1980, all the mainstream churches , had all become under the control of banner of Rome , the trinity doctrine was voted officially and adopted in Dallas convention in 1980.This was the final nail in the S.D.A Coffin.But it’s very unfortunate ,many Adventists are not aware of this fact.
Ellen White doesn’t make that argument. She clearly says that the world will come together on Sunday. Monotheists (such as the Muslims), atheists, polytheists, pantheists, and even Latter-day Saints and many others who reject the Trinity are being embraced into Rome’s ecumenical movement. You can believe in one, two, three, or a thousand gods, like the Hindus, and Rome will take you in just the same. What Ellen White consistently lays out in the book Great Controversy, time and time again, is that Sunday sacredness and the non-immortality of the soul will be the issue that will bring the world together into a corrupt harmony—ecumenism. I’ve heard the argument made by so many that the “trinity” is the uniting factor, but if you actually see who the participants are who are joining Rome, it clearly is not. Monotheists are fully embraced as well.
