The growing union between organized religion and American political power was on display at the 2026 Republican Midterm National Convention in Dallas, where Pastor Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist Church opened the gathering with a prayer calling for a “spiritual rebirth” and a “spiritual revolution” in America.
The Republican Party is holding the two-day national midterm convention on September 9–10, 2026, as party leaders, candidates, pastors, and supporters gather to energize the Republican base and build momentum ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
Before the assembled political leadership, Pastor Graham declared:
• “We pray for a spiritual rebirth. We ask for a spiritual revolution, that You would revive Your people again, Your church again.”
He continued:
• “May we stand together as one nation under God.”
And later prayed:
• “Dear God, please call America back to You. You are the one to make America greater again.”
The issue is not whether Christians should pray, preach, vote, participate in public life, or seek the spiritual revival of their nation. The danger arises when the mission of the church becomes increasingly linked with the political machinery and the power of the state.
America desperately needs spiritual revival, but a genuine revival will never come through political parties, government institutions, or legislation. Bible prophecy warns in Revelation 13 that the final crisis will involve religious authority joining with civil power to impose false worship and enforce religious observances.
Today the language may be “spiritual rebirth,” “spiritual revolution,” and calling America “back to God.” But the great religious-liberty question remains: What happens when political leaders eventually decide what returning to God should look like—and begin writing those religious convictions into law?
True and sincere Christians are not called to remain silent while America abandons God. We have been commissioned to proclaim an even greater spiritual awakening—the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14. But that message does not call upon Washington to enforce Christianity. It calls individuals everywhere to freely choose whom they will worship:
“Fear God, and give glory to him… and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Revelation 14:7.
The answer to America’s spiritual decline is not a political Christianity empowered by the state but a revival of biblical Christianity empowered by the Holy Spirit. The closer the church moves toward political power, the more urgently we must proclaim the everlasting gospel, defend liberty of conscience, and warn against every movement—whether from the political right or left—that would ultimately place the power of government behind religion.

For the hour Of His judgement is COM-ING:
“Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. ”

No matter what they try, the Word of God is very specific and no man can change it.
Just as the Jewish leaders and majority of the people disregarded Christ’s Prophetic warnings of impending judgment coming to Jerusalem in 70 AD; we are living in the anti-type.
So now the world is banding together church and state to try to save the world. But they are disregarding thr Prophetic Warnings given in Revelation that JUDGMENT is COMING!
Revelation aslo tells us that they will try to band together and that it will not work, because while they seek to honor God, they actually dishonor Him by forcing worship of an Idol Sabbath:
2nd Warning Message: the nations here mean all the churches too drinking of the wine, which isfalse doctrine of Sunday Observance:
“8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
3rd Warning: if anyone accept this enforced worship which is Sunday observance in the forehead – if they believe it, or in the hand – they don’t believe but accept it to save themselves, will receive of the WRATH of God:
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. ”

We are seeing Prophecy fulfilling before our eyes!
People Wake up! Only those who keep all God’s Commandments and have the faith of Jesus as He remained faithful during His persecution will be sealed and saved!
“3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. ”
