It is inconceivable that 100,000 Christians are killed annually simply because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Are we living in the dark ages all over again. Anti-Christian violence and persecution is growing around the world and no one seems to be advocating the rights of these persecuted followed of Christ.
Those that aren’t killed are deprived religious liberty, food, denied a place to live, raped or are made into slaves. This trend has been increasing during the last 10 years according to a recent report. This is one of the signs of the end-times because Jesus warned his disciples that they would be hated just before the “end.”
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 10:22.
We need to pray for Christians world-wide that they may stay true not just to Christ but also to His truth. Not only are Christian being persecuted but the truth of Scripture is being corrupted by a godless society and an apostate Christianity.
May we never take for granted the liberty that we still enjoy, and may we make the most of our time to live righteously and preach the gospel to every nation and people. God’s people will triumph in the end when Christ comes to save those who have “endured” until the end. Praise God. Come soon, Lord Jesus!
